The formations in this cave are unreal! We have been to a few caves in TN and VA and I think this cave has beat them all in beauty. We hung around the back of the tour to take more time snapping photos. As is the case with most cave tours they herd you through quickly so I always have that complaint in general. It was also expensive. A family of 2 adults and 2 kids was $69.

Nice place! Tickets $22 adult and $11 children. Plus you can upgrade your ticket to a season pass for $5. There’s a lot of different size rocks you can buy in the store. The tour was about one hour. Very nice and interesting underground formations. Downstairs to the lake there’s docks where you can feed fish. Cool place to take good pictures.

Went to visit this place last weekend. Booked 2 tickets at the front desk at the shop which sells a lot of cool rock stuff (a bit pricey though). Was told to wait for about 30 min. Once the tour started, we had a bunch of about 12-15 people with our guide. The guide patiently explained all the formations inside the cave which looks so beautiful! The guided walking tour lasted for about 45 min. I've been to the Fantastic caverns (which has a vehicle driven tour) but IMO the bridal caves was much better! Totally exceeded my expectations! Once the tour got over, we also took a short .5 mile hike in the thunder mountain overlook. Overall, a very good place to spend about 1.5 hrs.

The best cave we've been to. Breathtaking views and The guide was VERY knowledgeable and allowed us to take all the photos we wanted. The parking lot is small for any big rigs though. Thankfully nobody parked in it so we could turn our RV around, but if it's full you won't be able to. Beautiful scenery and place to hang out or have lunch outside overlooking the lake, as well. We're bringing the grands next time, great stop!

Good for a 5 year old to get worn out! Its actually perfect.
You may want to bring a walking stick. Wear good shoes. My husband has sore knee, after parking lot we didn't go in.
Yes you can, they will say no flash in the dark areas, only when the lights are on. And they're not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen items
Inside the cave we can provide up to four folding chairs for those who cannot stand for the 15 minute ceremony. Seating for up to 80 is provided for weddings held in the pavilion. Hope this helps Steve
Yes you can... Even if it's raining or snowing outside you can rest assured the cave weather and temperature will be constant.
Dogs are allowed in the park and the cave, but must be carried inside the cave. The tour is about an hour long.
The deepest point is about 700 feet below the surface. The cave itself is mostly level, it's increasing depth is due to the elevation of the surface increasing, not the cave decreasing.
Absolutely! We don't recommend a stroller, but it's all concrete walkways and handrails. Your Tour is approx. 1 hour and a 1/2 mile total. Can't wait to see you!
Stroller won't work but a toddler will be fine with hand holding and some carrying. 🙂
I am sorry we are not. The tour route is 1/2 mile.
We are open daily except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
There are a lot of stairs but they are not steep or small stairs. I am a shirt size XXL and the tight spots were easy to get threw. When I went I was still recovering from SI joint surgery (a major surgery, and I was freshly off a walker occasionally using a cane....which I did not take with me there) and I had no problems at all. The tour is not a rigorous fast paced tour it is nice and relaxing and there are railings at most of the stairs.
No we do not have a bar, but we do have an Event Center that can be used for a bar or a reception. Prices start at $300. Here is the link to the Event Center https://bridalcave.com/thunder-mountain-park-event-center/ Let us know if you have any further questions
Yes you can. When we were there people came up and docked their boat and went into the cave

My want to call them first
The cave is well lit and has pavement and railings, its an easy walk with only a few places you might have to duck. Tours are $18 for adults, $9 for kids and 4 and under are free.
Admission rates per website are: Adults (13 and up) $18.00, Children (ages 5 thru 12) $9.00, Small Children (ages 4 and under) FREE. Rates are always subject to change and no discounts are listed on the website currently.
There was just one area that we had to walk sideways through wasn't long at all, I'm very claustaphobic and I did fine
You can, but your feet will get dripped on with "cave kisses" and your experience will be that much more slippery.
The day they called it off they said it would not be rescheduled.
