Great option for camping & floating. Update from my most recent trip: The river is great, and the prices are decent. However, I would definitely avoid camping in the party area (Campground A) on the weekends. My party ended up leaving early due to other campers. They pushed trash into our campsite and then ran a diesel generator for almost 2 hours. No respect for other people or noise.

Nice campground right on the river. You can walk to where you put in for your float trip when you utilize the free 2 nights of camping that comes with a 1 day rental. There is even a cute little restaurant onsite and a small store at the campsite. Also a small store at the check in point.

Visited for the first time last week with my father, and had a great time. The staff is very nice, and accommodating. Stayed in the Village cabins. Very clean inside with a great outdoor setup and nice view of a small valley. There are …Thank you Nate!

The cabins are up on the hill, not down by the river. They aren't fancy, but they are comfortable. We got a good night's sleep before our float, which wouldnt have happened had we slept in a tent on the rocky ground.
The Floats are provided. But would have to be deflated because everyone rides to the river on a bus.
The cabins do,the campground does not, and yes they have campfire ring
Camp A is party camp on Friday and Saturday. Camp C is family camping
All of our rv sites are back in and a 39ft fifth wheel should fit just fine.
Absolutely but must be kept on a leash while in the campground and can not be left unattended ☺
2 nights of free primitive tent camping with the rental of NRO vessels
11am
We do have a restaurant on site called The Grub Bucket. Check them out on FACEBOOK for updates on opening dates for 2021.
Hey Teresa yes you can bring you own kayaks, it is best if you reserve ahead of time especially if you are planning for a weekend. You can reserve online or you can call 800-748-7249 and one of our team members will assist you with your reservation. Thank you Team NRO
1 to 4 ppl for the 4 person price 5 to 6 ppl for the 6 person price
We floated there the Saturday before father's day and was super crowed, I was with my kids and grandkids, sure there was people drinking and having a good time but they were respectful and super helpful when someone needed it, if there was flashing our group never saw it, as any river or lake activity there's always the chance of disagreeable activity but I would recommend NRO to anyone that's wants to have fun!
Yes you can. Stop at the top store pay a 2.00 per vessel put in fee and get a car tag.
$50 per canoe, or $25 per person for up to 2 people. Or $75 per canoe, $25 per person for up to 3 people. $45 each additional day.
You have to find them there scattered around
If you check USGS, type in water levels at Windyville into Google search, you can check water levels.
Just floated yesterday, the river was low but managed to do the 7 mile float in just under 2 hours with kayaks
No pets are allowed in the cabins, but if you're camping then yes.
I take my dogs at least 3 times every month. Don't tie them to the boat. Keep a good eye on them and you should be golden. I always use NRO, and my dogs easily fit on the kayaks, canoes, and rafts. ( NRO is the only place that allows dogs in rafts).
Yes think its a 25.00 charge to put you in an take out
I work there its really close just around the corner. Sorry no pictures. Its new too us for this year. Owner bought it and moved it to its location before this season started
Yes at the family camp area. The riverfront campground is about a mile away from the family campground which the riverfront is primitive
Their website has a complete list of cabins, the prices, amenities, and detailed pictures. I love this place and try to go every year.
