We stayed mid-week. No one here except other RV/trailer campers. The grounds are pristine. The bathrooms in the RV area were typical Campground bathrooms, clean but nothing spectacular. The employees were very helpful and really nice. We came to float the Niangua. Put in right at the Campground, and they shuttled us and our boats back for $25/boat. The Trading Post has just about everything you'd want and not at jacked up prices. There are also several places along the grounds to access the river for swimming, wading, etc. The only downside was the lack of shade. Definitely recommend if you're planning to float the Niangua.

Large beautiful campground right on river. Clean, lots of places to swim, sit or fish along the river. Family oriented. Right outside Bennett Springs State Park. We would highly recommend. General store is convenient for those items you forget. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Very nice place on the river. Super clear water. Good fishing, but they need to plant fast growing trees. Not even one site got shade.

Such a great place to camp! We have a 32ft Class C and all RV sites are concrete parking pad and pretty darn level. The sites have grass & young trees, easy to hook up to all the services, and plenty of room between sites, which is a HUGE plus!! Lots of great walking areas, fishing right at the Niangua River, also close to Missouri State Park Bennett Springs. The staff are always friendly & helpful. The store on the property is well stocked and has a great selection. We will definitely be back, often. Thank you HVO staff!!

They have a website you might find out there. I'd call and ask. They have a long term area with full hookups that's real nice. Good luck, you can't find a nicer campground our outfitter on the river.

Check their website for rates. You can also make reservations on the same site. You'll love this place, great staff, the best camp ground and a new store. Totally awesome.

I'd give them a call. I asked them about a year ago and it seemed reasonable. I think their monthly rate included electric, water and trash. Not to mention, this is the best campground in the area.

It kind of depends really. Technically check in is at around 1 and checkout is noon. Just call ahead of time and depending on the amount of people there they will let u check in early. The people there are awesome and really friendly. It's a great place to RV or tent camp for families. Lots to do.

Camping at hidden valley outfitters would be no problem for you. They have easy access to the river but I'd take the advice below about getting a guide to catch some browns. Good luck...
