We tried to take our cats here because our county's shelter has a rough reputation. They denied us because we weren't from Campbell County, which is fine. But lady at front desk was incredibly rude. There is absolutely no need to be that impertinent.

just trying to find a stray cat a home, and said “just put it back where you found it”. Rude service.

I do volunteer service on Saturdays and every staff member there is so helpful! They are willing to answer every question I have with out judging. Teach me about animal safety and how to read animals emotions/pain & how to treat their health. They treat all the animals with respect, just like they are their own an spoil them. Also take extra time to work on training with them getting adopted out. They always keep the shelter clean and sanitized! I've really enjoyed my time there!

Sorry to ask another question but does ne abd my friend need an adult to come with us?
Hey Barbie I work with aggressive dogs if you would like help. You can reach me at 859-628-0185
I would try to get her and keep her safe. She might have gotten out. I would also post on Facebook. My family has found 3 dogs within a year. We found their pet parents by posting on Facebook. Ask around also. If all else fails call the SPCA on Monday. Good luck!
Maybe call 859-694-7672 for tips on how to humanely capture? That number is for ROSA (Rescue Our Shelter Animals & Strays)
You should call 859-635-2819 for more information on available pets. Good luck
I believe so
Did not see her there? Hope she comes home safe

Are you kidding me what wrong with people
Rent a trap from the shelter. Trap the cat. Take him to the vet in the trap. Do not try to touch the catas feral cats can be dangerous.
It is, I am not the owner but I have been trying to reach the owner but she left her pets 8 weeks ago and counting. Her other pet was re homed but I wasn't sure about her dog. Thank you
Call the animal shelter and see if there is enough room. We were full on cats yesterday and had no extra space. If you call the shelter employees can also provide you with numbers to cat rescues which could also be a solution.
No we do not, if your located in Campbell County you'll have to call your City Building and ask for animal control.
7 days
No
Yes or can call them and they should come to get it
No. If you surrender your animal to us at that point we try our absolute best to help them recover from whatever illness they may have, unless said illness is an untreatable virus like parvo. If your pet is sick though an you have no intention of surrendering it ~ I suggest contacting your local veterinary hospital to find treatment for your pet.
I think he is behind my house
