We floated there the Saturday before father's day and was super crowed, I was with my kids and grandkids, sure there was people drinking and having a good time but they were respectful and super helpful when someone needed it, if there was flashing our group never saw it, as any river or lake activity there's always the chance of disagreeable activity but I would recommend NRO to anyone that's wants to have fun!
Weekdays are more family oriented with more family groups floating and camping
It can be a little intense on the weekends, a lot of college kids and everything that entails. There is family camping and separate party camping.
The weekdays are good. Maybe avoid the weekends.
