Very slow Sunday evening. 1/2 hour wait in line then when I got to window manager or whoever walked away to make a phone call. Waited 4 more minutes and I drove to McDonald's for a quick bite before my 1 hour lunch break was up.

You can get the permit when you renew your tabs for your car. I'm not sour if you can buy the permit here
Gaylord state forest in Michigan has remarkable color in the fall.
