We recently spent three nights camping at Elkwood Campground on our way to the UP. We loved this campground. Our site was spacious and very level. Easiest setup we have ever had. Owners Tony and Kelly were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Close proximity to Petoskey, Charlevoix and Boyne City. The stars we could see at night was just amazing. Nice big heated pool. We can't wait to return next year!

I spent a night here with my wife sleep on our GMC yukon that equipped with a bed and mattress. The camp was great car's and rvs not close to each other. Plenty of space. Clean bathrooms and showers (they are old but clean) people work here ar so friendly and helpful they help us to check in late and took us to our place. I highly recommend. Nice place to camp and have fun.

They have always been extremely flexible but typically after 10 a.m. I would call and ask them. They are the best.
There's no set date but they normally drain the water lines the end of October. But there open all year with bathroom facilities ( shower and toilet) available. Very nice and accommodating people
