Well as you can see/READ clinic went low on its classification between 5 & 1year ago, from 5-stars to2 Then 1star. Firstable, no more same day dosage, also if you miss 2 days then come on your 3rd day, your dose will go as low as half your original dose. Your increase there after will be of 10mgs every 4 to 5 days, sometimes even 7 days of perfect attendance. That's from my personal experience of course. Now if you miss a day, then fall in the hospital for accident or other reason, doctors will drop almost half of your dose. In my case, from 110mgs to 60mgs. When you then go back to the methadone clinic they will keep you on 60mgs and the increase process starts all over again(10mgs every 4-7 days of perfect attendance. Sad to say there's a rotten apple and some staff condoning this evil action on patients life. Well, I strongly felt the need to speak up for all patients going through this mistreatment at this particular methadone clinic. Nevertheless LG, and those who do right by others Life will make sure they reap that which they sow. Amen

Yes but it does take about a good 4 hours before you get dosed possibly six but you will get dosed
Their policy is no homeless. It's wrong, and I don't agree at all with discrimination. However, you can get a NYC ID for free & whether you're in NY legally or not. Go to the Madison Ave library. Or say you're currently staying with relatives here in NYC. Don't show up w/ tons of bags...security will toss you out. If this fails try getting help at The Bridge. Good luck & God bless P.S. Hi Michelle, Mount Sinai / Beth Israel has multiple clinics in NYC and Brooklyn, but not West Chester. Your best bet us to ask your counselor to research programs close to where you will be staying. Many programs offer it,, but I don't know how far in advance it would have to be. I know ours can be done in a few days with coordination with clinic manager or counselor calling us. I can't recall us ever turning anyone away. Also please be advised their is usually a fee involved, nothing catastrophic but find out before you go. Treatment has become more difficult for folks in New York in general, we have a lot traveling from Long Island to the city due to long waiting lists and restrictions. Your case should not be hard to guest dose., it's going to be finding a clinic within the vicinity you are staying and that will be a challenge. It accepts most insurance, most of the people that go there obviously have Medicaid. I actually pay in cash, they base it on your salary I pay $25 a week. But I remember them telling me last year when I joined that they take pretty much every single insurance. Give him a call and find out. Have a good one

It's easy even if u don't have it they will help u get the Medicaid.
no, just as long your insurance is good u see the doc and usually medicated in 2-3 hrs and gone.
There is a methadone clinic called Beth Israel methadone treatments on 23rd Street and 2nd Avenue. They are very helpful and you will get it that day, they do guess those as well, they just need to be able to call your other Treatment Center get a form of consent and you folks should be fine just look it up
