Dr. Oliver park was extremely helpful in getting me my NYS medical cannabis license. He made the experience very relaxing and informative that no other Cannabis doctor that I spoke to was willing to do. You can be assured that you will receive your cannabis card from New York State quickly working with Dr. park. I will definitely be in contact with Dr. Park next year to renew my license once again thank you

Dr. Park, is the real MVD. He is one of the coolest medical doctors I’ve ever spoken with, he has even helped me with non-cannabis related afflictions, such as school related help even personal issues, apart from being The MVD he’s a great guy to chop it up with.

I can honestly say Dr. Park is the best doctor specializing in cannabis here in NY. He makes sure to answer all the questions you may have and prepares you for going into a dispensary (most doctors don't). I had all my paperwork ready for my first visit and the staff knew Dr. Park was my doctor because of it!

Dr. Park is a terrific healthcare professional. I was very pleased with our discussion and learned a few new things since my last recertification. I highly recommend Dr. Park for your health and well being needs.

As Kevin mentioned, same day if you have the proper documentation and if it is medically appropriate
Chronic pain, including severe back pain, is a qualifying condition for the medical marijuana program. I think there is a very good chance that you would benefit significantly from the pain relief that medicinal cannabis provides.
Hi Mike, I do charge a one-time fee for the year. For new patients it is $250 for the first year. For returning patients it is $150 to renew the following. I do offer discounts in the case of financial hardship, so let me know if that would help.
Hi Charles, this is Dr. Oliver Park. I don't take any sort of insurance unfortunately, including Medicaid or Medicare.

Hi Kristofer, any and all medical documentation that you could share with me would be very helpful. More information the better. -Dr. Oliver
Hi, yes I do offer consultations via telemedicine (a video chat).
Hi Matthew, it is possible that you might meet the criteria for chronic pain as a qualifying condition for the Medical Marijuana Program. More recent documentation of medical care to show that they are active, ongoing issues would be needed however because of the old nature of your injuries. -Oliver Park, MD
Hi Joseph, we spoke and I'm sure that I was able to answer your questions. Let me know if you have any additional questions or issues in regards to the Medical Marijuana Program!
Hi Sonia, this is Dr. Oliver Park. Unfortunately I don't take any sort of insurance, and neither do the dispensaries. Feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.
Hi Sally, marijuana, whether medical or not, is still considered illegal at the federal government level, so it can be risky to bring it with you on a plane. The medical marijuana programs are all state-based, so they often only cover you when you are in that state.
Unfortunately, Medicaid/Medicare does not pay for medical marijuana at this time. Some New York lawmakers have been trying to get it covered for some time now, but the bill hasn't been able to pass. See article here: https://nypost.com/2018/11/22/medical-marijuana-could-soon-be-covered-by-new-york-health-insurance/
Hi Gregory, any documentation you have on hand would be helpful as well as a list of your medications and a NYS ID. If there is any additional information we need, we can always just have your other health providers fax them over. It shouldn't cause a delay in getting your patient card.

Hi Maria-Lisa, this is Dr. Oliver Park. Unfortunately, I don't accept insurance. For medical marijuana patients, I typically charge a one-time fee for the year which includes continuing support and guidance. For new patients, it is $250. For returning patients the following year, it is $150.
Hi Dervie, this is Dr. Oliver Park. Yes, it sounds like you would be a great candidate for the New York State Medical Marijuana Program. I would be happy to help you obtain your patient card.
Hi Jacob, the NYS MMP currently doesn't recognize or honor out-of-state medical marijuana cards. However, you might register independently for a NYS medical marijuana certification if you are a resident or temporary resident of New York State.
Hi Ottis, any and all medical documentation that you have on hand would be helpful, as well as a complete list of your medications. More information the better! If you don't have records on hand, we can always have them faxed over from your other healthcare providers.
Hi Andrew, depression, bipolar diorder, and anxiety are not currently qualifying conditions for the New York State Medical Marijuana Program.
Chronic pain, such as yours, is definitely a qualifying condition for the Medical Marijuana Program. I would be happy to be of assistance in getting you certified.
