Open this space to the public! There are hardly any green spaces in the urban wasteland that is this part of DC! It’s an injustice to restrict it to the use of a few.

It's a shame to see this huge space in the middle of a dense urban landscape being restricted to use by a handful of people. Particularly striking of you look at a satellite image of DC. From their website: "Currently, with 200 active members, any one member can essentially play the entire course at any time without seeing another soul."

I had to look it up, and only found that it goes back to the 1930s. I've heard from older residents that some prominent people have played here, including Bill Clinton.
