Clerk 11 was insanely patient and helpful when I had multiple issues (that were my fault) getting money orders! This was on August 19, and I don’t know her name but she was an angel!

6/18/2022 They didn't open at 9 AM on Saturday because the employee with a key did not show up to work. As far as I know, six customers came and left by 9:15 AM. At least there was a kind and responsible employee informing us immediately that we should go to the other post office.

I received the most rudest customer service from Clerk 15, in addition to hearing her being rude to two other customers before me. Her tone with me was just as nasty for asking a question about the amount of insurance I requested. She definitely delivers the rudeness but failed to inform me of tracking number by circling on my receipt as is customary of postal clerks. Apparently Clerk 15’s priority is to deliver the nastiest and rudest customer service ever. Customers should not be bullied or made to feel intimidated by this person whose nasty attitude is definitely not an asset to the postal service. Please do better by placing people friendly clerks on the front line. Customers deserve to be treated with respect.

I went to the Post Office at 1215 31st Street today. What a horrible experience. The clerk was so rude! I am in shock that she is able to treat people so rudely and keep her job.

Questions & Answers

Is anyone in charge who can get mail delivered to Forest Lane NW 20007? If our regular mailman is on vacation, is there a substitute? Or do you know what is going on?

Yes. There's a Letter Carrier Supervisor who assigns someone to deliver on the route. If there are not enough people then the route is divided and 2 or 3 take portions and deliver after they finish their regular route.

Is this a pick up location?
