Maydan, a truly unique dinning experience. You feel among friends the minute you enter. You are instantly captivated by a rich and sensual atmosphere, from the fire pit, hanging cured meats, the aromas, the music, the cocktails, the wines, the staff, all culminating in a display of succulent dishes. I waited to write a review until my third visit, it felt too good to be true at first, only to get better every time. I can't wait to return. A gem of a place.

Had an absolutely amazing experience at Maydan last evening. We walked in but were able to find seats at the bar fairly quickly. The drinks (specially the drink Dead Sea) was amazing!! The food was fresh. Our bartender- Drew was lovely too. He gave us good recommendations for what to try. We will definitely be back at Maydan often

What a fantastic experience. Mayden was the full package. Ambiance, service, food and drinks were all top notch. If I could, I would try everything on the menu. A surprise highlight was the cabbage! One thing to note, since there is an open flame, it can get toasty in there. Dress appropriately.

Went for my birthday and the food was delicious. Loved the ambience, though I would encourage you to get there early enough to find seating. A nice hidden gem for sure.

I have only done walk in (3 times) and we did get a hard 2 hour cutoff. This is not difficult to do and never impacted enjoyment of the meal. Service is great and the food is well worth it. You would regret missing it. Also, get all the dipping sauces for the bread, trust me

I always find parking on florida or 14th street but I’m there in the evening. Never had a prob after 530/6p. I would search to see how far nearest parking garage is just in case to be safe. It’ll be worth it. Enjoy
When making a reservation for the Tawle experience, it cites that it is $75/person, excluding beverages, tax, and gratuity. If you would like, Maydan also takes walk-ins which allows you to order a la carte from the menu. Arriving right when they open at 5 has been my best luck for scoring a seat at the bar. Enjoy!
They have tents outside, no walls, just covers, cold and not fun at all. The food comes out cold. A hard pass.
I don't believe so, but definitely recommended due to limited seating.

There are 2 fish dishes, and it's more of a shared mezze dish place anyway, with only a few mains. More than half the menu is small plates to share which are veggie and totally delicious.
There are TONS of veggie options. You will not be disappointed.
They change frequently
You may wait up to 1 hr. for a seat at the bar if you arrive at 5:30. If you're in line before the 5 o'clock open, you'll have your choice of bar seats. The resv. system opens @ midnight 4 weeks ahead & is your best option if you can plan that far in advance.
Reservations are recommended, but 9 of 10 walk-ins will have to dine at the bar. Don't despair though, the service is just as good and of course the food is the same.
You should try and make a reservation. Otherwise you will be jocking for seats at the bar or hoping someone with a reservation doesnt show up.
Yes. It's a great choice on your own , if seating is available.
The place is cozy. Im sure they will do the best based upon whats available and music plays throughout the restaraunt. But its very easy to have conversations without raising voice.
They have a whole upstairs private dining space suitable for former first ladies. Call them.
