I can't give this place 6 stars but I wish I could. Since adopting a cat while relatively new to the city, I've had a hard time finding a vet that is affordable and of quality. This place is that perfect find. My cat was sick with an ear and chest issue and they were so helpful and patient, answered all of my questions, and at the end I thought they were joking when they gave me my bill. It was so affordable, and my cat is in great hands with Dr. Weiner. Jessika was also amazing when helping my cat, I'm glad this is my new vet.

My second time going there. It was clean, staff was nice as well as the doctors. Went back to get flea medication and a weight check. The young lady advised me to stop in any time some he can get use to it since he so big at a young age. I truly appreciated the I info she gave me.

I took my cat to the clinic and she is in great health according to the clinic on her previous wellness the year then proceeded to inform me that she needed some of her teeth extracted. I took her for a second opinion and found that she, as I suspected, did not require any extractions and all she required was a cleaning. Think twice prior to trusting Girard Vet Clinic.

I have no complaints. I have a few pets of my own, I want to get there. One of my 🐱 is scared of getting in a carrier. I don't know what happen to him b4 I received him. Anybody have any solutions? She's not a little cat either. Tricking him with food will NOT work. I rescue a cat last year. His name is Buddy, VERY LOVABLE. and SWEET. I got him his shots and he was back in his home verses being on the street. Where he and I cross paths. Tuesday passed I happened to see another cat that look JUST like him but I think Buddy may have been fix. Although, you can tell cat was young. I sent out the same cat called I did with Buddy and he/she came. I said, that's Buddy kid or God want me to bond with that 🐱. People do many things for many reasons other's don't know. Then their the dumb one's. Who say just because. The bottom line people hurting, killing or torching animals is sad. To ALL the ANIMALS LOVERS or those WHO CARE. THANK YOU FOR WHAT DO
I'm not sure you would have to call them.i took my cat there I used care credit thank goodness I was approved for it. You should sign up
I'm sorry but I don't know.
Dont know never knew somebody would spay a rabbit bit call and see if they will even do a rabbit
There fairly medium priced but not as low as the SPCA
Apply for care credit. This vet takes this card, and you will know right away if you are approved.
I think it was about $50 plus medicine and cremation
Hello Mr. Burns, there are many different vaccines and the prices vary, but the core vaccines are $25-$30 per vaccine. To get prices on specific vaccines or any other services or goods please feel free to give us a call at 215-232-0831.
Hello Ms. Porter, we are not an emergency clinic so unfortunately we cannot accept all emergencies, however we do have walk-in appointments available Monday-Friday 8am to 9:30am and if you call us we often have same-day appointments available. Please give our front desk staff a call at 215-232-0831.
Call them first thing in the morning. They open at 8 am. If all else fails call the University of Penn Vet Hospital. Hope this helps you.
Hi is the shots expensive for a kitten that's 4 months old
Please take your cat to an emergency clinic ASAP. Depending on when you read this message: VSEC is open 24/7 at 1114 S. Front Street for emergency walk-ins. If we are open you can give us a call but please do NOT wait!
Hello Rick, so sorry to hear about your cat! Please give our office a call at 215-232-0831. Prices will vary for urinary issues depending on the exact diagnosis and treatment needed.
Hi Lorraine - we are open Mon-Thurs 8am to 7pm and Fri 8 am to 5pm (we are not currently open on the weekends). To schedule an exam and/or to go over pricing please feel free to call our front desk at 215-232-0831 and we can answer all of your questions, thanks!
We do everything we can to help! In more complex cases such as non-routine C-sections, patients may be referred out to a specialty clinic. Please feel free to call our office with any other questions at 215-232-0831.
SPCA. & Paws offer discount & low cost shots some days are cheaper than others go on websites 2 check
you should probably call the place
Very nice expensive and serious about getting the money up front
this veterimary clinic is one of the better ones so just schedule an appointment and let the help you
Hello Sheree, yes we do take walk-ins, but they are more expensive than a scheduled appointment and we often have same-day appointments available. Please give us a call at 215-232-0831 to schedule and we would be happy go over what is recommended for your fur baby at this age and their associated prices. Thanks!
They are not as expensive as other vets. I would say they are more around the mid-low range for pricing. Like, a 4-5/10 if 10 is the most expensive. However, they do push for a lot of meds that add up.
Omg. Please take your dog to University of Pennsylvania . Emergency services!!!
Yes, they take walk ins. But they see the walk in after the appointments are seen.
you should probably call, but i don't believe so
No. They used to. Not any longer. New ownership for a couple of years now. The Vet that did the "small animals" no longer works there.
Don't force feed him. Take him to VSEC (1114 S Front St, Philadelphia, PA 19147) or the UPenn Vet ER (3900 Spruce St, Philadelphia, PA 19104) immediately. This page isn't a place where you can get veterinary medical advice. The doctors and staff here are great but I recommended them for non-emergencies.
Im not sure about that, you should call early morning you'll have a better chance on getting in.
Hello Ms. Parker, the price of spaying depends on their weight, physical condition and most recent labwork. Please feel free to give us a call at 215-232-0831 and we would be happy to get you a more relevant estimate!
Yes
The rabies vaccine: 1 or 3 year for dogs and the 1 year for cats are both $30
