Positive: We loved the 'suite' accommodation and location. Also, a complimentary coffee service 24/7 and a shuttle were nice amenities. Negative: There was a 'water issue' with Room 906...when we arrived at our room standing water covered the entire entryway and the adjoining carpet was wet. An employee was suppose to come solve the problem, but NOTHING was done. Ever. There was no follow up.

The Antagonist

I waited a month for an important package. Made it known to front desk multiple times that I needed said package and too call me when it arrived. They never called me and returned the package to sender without notifying me. Also was told that package that had arrived didn't arrive forcing me to ask different staff to verify.

In town for the shareholder meeting and stayed at Residence Inn. Very cool historic hotel originally built in the 1930s as a federal building. Assistant GM was very friendly and welcoming - told us ghost stories about the eighth floor! Great accommodations and good location to get to CHI Center and Old Market for events and meals. I had the shuttle service pick me up from the airfield - quick friendly service by a young man who has fully recovered from cancer, God bless him.

We stayed here on New Year's Eve, and it was a great location, with very helpful staff. The room was nice. The only issues were noise. Right below our window was the outdoor "lounge" area, which some guests were enjoying themselves fairly loudly well past midnight. I understand that's not the hotel's fault though. What was harder, was the room we were in had the sound from the elevator echoing loudly anytime it ran. I'm assuming if we weren't in the room right next to that, it wouldn't be an issue. So, overall it was a great facility and experience.
