PROS: the showroom is neat, clean, and always has a good selection. It looks presentable. Thats literally the only good thing about this place. CONS: I've seen a lot of reviews that say that the repair / maintenance services are fast and fair priced, and this is certainly NOT the case. Every time I have gone in to have something repaired, they tell me it will be AT LEAST A TWO WEEK WAIT if not more, even for simple fixes that ought to take 15-20 minutes. I've asked them to tune carburetors before and they said they charge $40-$45 PER Carburetor! I bought the limiter cap removal tool off ebay for $35, watched a 10 minute youtube video, and tuned all 5 of my two stroke engines myself. I brought in a $150 Echo leaf blower that was having fuel system problems and they wanted $100 to fix it. At that point I just took it back and bought parts off amazon for $20 and fixed it myself. Its way cheaper to learn how to do the maintenance yourself. Watch a few youtube videos and learn how to do it yourself, you'll save a fortune. I have gone in to buy some replacement parts to do maintenance myself, and the parts that they sell you are overpriced. You're better off buying the parts on amazon and waiting a few days for them to ship rather than buy expensive junk from these guys. I get it... trying to support your local small business and all... but seriously don't even bother with these guys. It's not worth the headache. Also, the staff aren't friendly at all and always seem unhappy. When you try to talk to them they'll sigh and roll their eyes at you like they're just desperate for their shift to finally end. They desperately need some customer service training. When they do finally manage to call you back about something, you'll be listening to their voicemail over and over trying to understand them because they mumble into the phone. Such a headache...

I was a loyal customer to Mow Power for a number of years when I lived in Mesa. I took my mower there a few times for tune ups over the years, and I was always pleased with their service and pricing. I was such a loyal customer that I still took my mower there even after moving to Phoenix. Mow Power has a big shiny new building now, but it seems when they moved from the old building, they left their customer service skills behind. I took my mower in for a tune-up and I was advised that it shouldn't take more than a week. This was pretty standard timing based on my past experiences with them. After I hadn't heard from Mow Power for two weeks, I called them. The nice young woman on the phone advised me that they were two weeks behind, but my mower was next to be worked on. I waited another two weeks, and still nothing from Mow Power. I called again and explained that I have now been waiting on them for a month to complete a basic tune-up on my mower. The woman on the phone advised me that the mechanic had tried to call me to give me the estimate before completing the job. I advised her that nobody called me from Mow Power. To her credit, she apologized. Later that day, a man from Mow Power called me to inform me that my mower was ready to be picked up. He completed the work THAT DAY, yet I had been waiting a MONTH with no phone call or check-in or update from Mow Power! I had to call each time to find out WTH was going on with my mower. Mow Power's lack of concern, disorganization, and lack of truly making this situation right has caused them to lose a loyal customer. I will NEVER give them my business again. Hopefully, they realize that it takes a lot more than a shiny new building to impress customers.

The Mow Power team is fantastic! We have been going to them for sales and service for many years, and it has been great watching their business grow into their current location. They have grown for good reason - they provide good parts and service at a fair price with friendly service. Hard to ask for more than that!
