I like the complex. Right now our dishwasher continues to be a problem with water leaking. They've been working on but nothing seems to be working.

Maintenance is always kind, professional, and efficient. He works hard to complete maintenance requests in a timely manner. He always communicates with me if more steps or parts are needed. I appreciate him so much.

I love the floor plan of the apt. It is spacious. It has a washer and dryer which is really important to me. I am on my 8th year here at EagleRun Apts. I feel as if it is my home. As for the rent, other places not as nice as these apts are the same or even higher. The maintenance is really good. If you have a problem with your apt, the maintenance person is usually there the same day. Last but not least—for the most part, it is quiet.

During my initial tour of the apartmet I was assured that safety bars could be installed in the shower to assure my safety (I am a left leg amputee). After signing the lease and paying my deposit and first and last month's rent, I met with the maintenance tech and then the maintenance supervisor and was told that I could not have the safety bars installed in the shower. I agreed with the supervisor that the bars could be installed outside the shower on the wall because I didn't feel I had any other choice. The next day I spoke with my Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist and advised them of the situation and they absolutely insisted that putting the bars on the outside of the showes was not going to work at all for me because it would be very unsafe. I called back and informed Megan of that and asked if I could have an outside contractor come in and problem solve the situation with me and make a proposal on how the safety bars could be installed in the shower. The plan was to submit the proposal to the apartment manager who would then have it reviewed by the appropriate personnel for approval for implementation. If approved, I would be liable for any cost to have the work done that was necessary to install the safety bars in the shower. I have contacted two contractors who did not have the necessary proof of insurance and then we were into the memorial day weekend. I will call another one tomorrow (Tuesday June 1). Unfortunately I will be living in the apartment full time beginning today and will not be able to shower or bathe. How long will this situation last? If I had been told when I toured this apartment that I could not have the safety bars installed in the shower, I would not have signed a lease, paid my deposit and paid first and last month's rent but kept on looking for an apartment. Not sure what to do now, but this is not fair to me. I am very dissatisfied right now.
