I was in a weaker place of my life and sought out as much as possible. Calvary was one of the many homes I looked at to help me find my way. At a glance, they were the most ideal of all the providers in the valley. However I showed up only to have one of the worst experiences I could ever have imagined. I corresponded with an employee for a week and set up what I was hoping would be the salvation I had been needing… I arrive, after the initial meeting scheduled was delayed due to someone admitting they were new and went against guidelines, only to be told that everything I had planned was inaccurate. I made an appointment, I was not on the “board”. Took over an hour to see someone. I was told the central Phoenix campass had evening openings, I showed up to find out the opposite. Literally everything I coordinated via phone call a week prior ended up being wrong or incorrect. These people need to understand they are dealing with fragile minds and the way they handle themselves is everything. I would not recommend my worst enemy addict this program. Just nothing but disorganized people that do not care about you.

The staff was very friendly. The meals were great. They made sure I understood the next steps. The only thing that there was a miscommunication about was meetings. I was not aware of meetings that I could join. I wasn't until my emergency contact was discussing next steps, she was told I should join. All in all, I am thankful for them and how they helped get me healthy.

I self admitted myself to your facility over a year ago, I have been clean and sober since I left. If it wasn’t for the staff kindness and compassion I would not be where I’m at today. The nurses were awsome and new exactly what meds I needed to help me thru my recovery. Thank you to everyone you guys are awesome. Thank you Joe Bracamonte

I needed detox. Badly. Calvary was convenient to me. It also proved to be an excellent facility. I highly recommend it. Of course the highest priority was given to safely, medically detoxing my body. It quickly became clear that the next priority at Calvary was to allow me as much comfort as possible during a process that was anything but comfortable for my system and psyche. The staff were almost ridiculously kind and accommodating. While my troubles were of my own making, I was never made to feel ashamed. The food was nothing short of incredible and there was a lot of it. This was a godsend for my malnourished body. Meals were served by the chef who was also ridiculously kind. I looked forward to seeing him 3 times a day. I slept most of the time but did attend a few meetings and workshops. I believe that Calvary is a Christian company, but nothing was EVER pushed on me. Thank goodness for good Christian organizations. They've saved me more than once. If I had anything negative to say it would be that nothing was really ever explained to me about the day-to-day routine Etc. This was probably due to the fact that they were going through a facility reorganization while I was there. Nevertheless, any time I did have a question, things were patiently explained to me. Also, it became clear toward the end of my stay that in an effort to further help me, and in a nod to their business model, they pushed fairly hard for me to stay for rehab. I was unable to and that fact proved to be a bit of a sticking point for a day or so. If you can take advantage of their rehabilitation program, I imagine that it is excellent. I, unfortunately could not. If you smoke, bring lots of cigarettes. You cannot vape. In the end, I would highly recommend Calvary in your moment of need.

I am an alumni of this program. I am not an employee of their's. I know that they accept many private insurances, but not Medicaid, in state or out of state. Their financial department should be able to answer your insurance questions. 9-5 M-F. I cannot reccomend Calvary enough. If your insurance is accepted, you (or your loved one) could not make a better choice.
