I spent a month or so at WD and everything was going good until I started experiencing suicidal ideations and when I expressed what I was feeling Dr. Dy explained to me that he would help me work through my current mental state and asked me to do a writing assignment and once I was done he would help me, he never came back to help me (at the time I was very upset and could not stop crying). My therapist at the time Vanessa did not come to talk to me once, she was with another client, after I was done with what Dr. Dy asked me to do I was told by the receptionist that if I didn’t attend group right that second they were going to call a cab for me. Of course I did not want to go home I was clearly asking for help so I went to group, then I realized the group that was being taught had nothing to do with what I was experiencing at the moment and I was clearly not in the right state of mind to sit in a group class silently so I went to Vanessa’s office to ask if I could speak with anyone one on one because I was having suicidal ideations. She looked at me and told me to go to group and "get it out" and I tried explaining that I was not in the right state of mind to be in group and she looked at me with no empathy and said "you’re not the only one with ideations". My only response was "are you serious?" and she closed her door, so I left and ended up meeting a woman down the street that helped me more than anyone at WD that day. This place focuses more on eating disorders, they told me I would be getting one on one therapy once a week and not once did I ever receive that. The other staff at WD are wonderful and do an excellent job at creating meal plans, cooking, and creating work out routines. I felt that I was unheard many times at WD and I don’t recommend this place to anyone who struggles or experiences suicidal ideations, because I felt that they failed me. Thank the universe that I met that nice woman because who knows what could have happened to me if I hadn’t considering I walked down the streets of phoenix and they didn’t even try to attempt to call me to make sure I was okay. Not to mention Ocean who is Dr. Dy’s assistant, I would ask multiple times for advice or even an update on my job (they had told me they would help me with everything considering I was going on a leave of absence and was asking for FMLA) she was not helpful whatsoever and I would never get a solution to my problem. I had explained to her that I needed to find a part time job because my cat had recently needed to go to the vet and I had to pay a lot of money just for the visit and every time I would ask her about my job it was almost like she had no idea what to reply with.

They did not ask me which day I am available for my therapy. They did not go over scheduling of the therapy what they are going to cover. One of the therapist she’s in patient she does not have no patient and they called her she is a therapist. She is close mind person and dictator. Don’t waste your time with them. Because you’re not gonna know what comes next what is the schedule per day? Personally love the owner only one therapist she is not for me.
