Nice campground, privacy and space between sites. not too many people on the water. Only down point the showers are cold, and the drains plugged, causing flooding into dressing area…

This campground is really nice. We have a 39’ class A which fit nicely in the spacious spot. Each spot is pretty private with large hedges separating them. It has water and electric and a dump station. We were able to have campfires. Overall nice place.

Only me and my Bella and one other person. Gorgeous quiet right off the highway

The state park here is awesome, granted most of the vegetation is native (sagebrush, sand, natural grasses). There are numerous camp sites, walking paths, restrooms. Boating, fishing or just enjoying the wildlife that frequents the park …

Yes. And freakers will be coming out of the water. Freaker prairie dogs
If you reserve a spot and no one was in it the night before, I believe you can show up when you want, but if it was rented you have to wait until they are gone
Tent camp is 18$ bathroom was open I didn't check the shower, water hook ups are off for the winter
Oh yes, on a clear night, the park is dark so Star gazing is ultimate.
Just what we all need. To get caught in the traffic jam leaving while a bunch of stoners wait for the Stop Sign to turn green. . .
It's really dry and the bugs mosquitoes are horrible it used to be so pretty there at the park, they stopped watering and and maintaining the place, it's just not the same anymore, if you.plan on staying there make.sure you.bring bug spry
Always carry bugs spray around bodies of water. Especially around sunset.
Sorry... I don't know anything about that. We were just passing through and needed a place to park our trailer for the night.
I was there two weeks ago, and everything was being cleaned all the time
June was great. People catching fish every day. Can't imagine July wouldn't be the same. But LOTS of mosquitoes!
No, there are campsites available but limited.
Yes, each RV spot has water and power. with sewer dump near exit. There is also water near the tent spots, but not in each site, no power. Clean showers in the restrooms.
No they have ice. Huninton is a couple miles down the road and they have a couple stores.
Yes. Park area was farewell point for the Snake River. Actual trail is just across the highway. Pioneers followed the river to this area, then headed inland toward th Blue Mountains.
46 for a cabin and 56 for a pet friendly cabin
Yes there is a muddy sandy area you can pull your boat up to, bring a stake to tie off.
Yes but no near by trails except across the river in Idaho.
You can reserve spots online. I'm pretty sure they close the sights for about a month In the winter.
Mosquitoes are bad. The rv sites are nicer for only $6 more . Showers take forever to warm up and are not hot
We were there a week after memorial day weekend a couple years ago. It was 95 degrees, the wind was blowing 40 miles per hour and the sun was so hot, it burned you even in the shade. We decided Farewell Bend is a good place to wave at as we drive down to Utah. BUT, the park is excellently maintained, it's clean and the staff is great. Oh, they got catfish here?
