Had to go down a private road to get to the gate. Asked someone who lived there if it was ok, since the street sign said private and he said yes. Parked in the small parking area and walked to the gate. Not far in we were met with 4 large white dogs, 3 were agressive and one was timid, who chased us back to our car barking and then chased the car all the way to the main road. Please be careful the dogs seemed very agressive. Called animal control and they didn't know if there was anything they could do.

This is the most wonderful place..it is not developed you will need rock shoes for the river..everyone you meet is nice, fishing, floating.. Clean water..you carry your things in..it is a bit of down hill climb. …

What a joke! I didn't even want to give it one star. Not a park at all. It's simply an old muddy logging road going nowhere. Most of the pictures shown are from somewhere else on River Rd. There is no river access from this path. …
