I moved in on April 15, 2022. On July 25th I noticed I had mold in my apartment hallway closet so I contacted my leasing office to let them know. I submitted a work order as well. They came out the same day and “treated” the area and I was told it was just watermarks. Whatever they treated it with didn’t last and problem was returning, and most of the mold was still on the wall. So I contacted them again about it on July 28 to also let them know there is more mold in my bedroom closet and something isn’t right. Something must be leaking. They finally took me seriously and said they’d get a contractor out. Long story short, there was a leak going on upstairs from what I was told because a plumber had been out to look at my unit at least twice. So they gutted my hallway ceiling and closet as well as my bedroom closet. Which in turn made me have no AC. I’ve not had working AC since August 15th, 2022. They also plugged an industrial fan in and ran it from August 11th, 2022- August 22nd , 2022 on my dime. When I asked about it on August 11th I was advised by the apartment community manager to leave it plugged in, which I countered will they be chipping in on my electricity bill, she said they can see what they can do. I requested rent reduction by 50% (or fully comped) as well as all or half my electricity bill paid. Also the people who came out to rip everything out repeatedly left all my lights on. August 22, 2022 I received a reply back about my request, I received a credit for “base” rent. My base rent is $1,250 and they gave me $625. They said if my electricity bill differed much from what it was originally they’d give me another credit. I received a small AC unit for my living room only. I do not sleep in my living room. So my bedroom/bathroom is HOT. I’m still living there while they do all these repairs. Yesterday I came home 8/29/21, and the guy was still in my apartment doing repairs til 6pm! I know he’s just doing his job as he said he thought I was in a hotel. Repairs need to be done at reasonable times especially when the tenant(me) is still living there. Apartment staff is pleasant but I will not be renewing my lease due to everything. I also found more mold in my laundry room which maintenance took care of. It seems mold is a big issue here along with plumbing. I would like if the apartment complex owner reached out. Update this is in response to the owners reply: 9/27/2022 Maintenance is coming out today to finish putting shelves and racks back up, so no the work isn’t remediated. I personally had to reach out to get an update and see if it was ever to get done. Since management has changed it seems the new community manager is unaware of the previous agreement of having my electricity bill compensated. So no everything isn’t fixed and I will be updating ONCE everything is, Thanks,
Renee Woods
Quiet in my area for working from home/delivery.

The management has to be some of the most hateful, distasteful, and self serving humans to ever be hired in hospitality. Loud, disrespectful, banging on doors, trying to enter WITHOUT written consent. They once blamed me for throwing diapers in the backyard area… but I don’t have any children. FTK🤣 ‼️‼️STAY AWAY FROM THE POOL‼️‼️ You will get sick, the pool was not cleaned all last year until a few days before it reopened. It was green, and have algae blooms growing in it, geese raised their young in that pool, many animals turned it into their home. I’ve seen kids get in and be sick for a week or two after, your better off playing in lake. I’m sorry but living here isn’t worth the hassle and disrespect. Would NOT recommend no matter how desperate you are. Other amenities: Roaches massive spiders Ants Isopods (Rolly Polly’s) So many mosquitoes just waiting to eat you alive. Constantly under construction only to look worse than before the project started ‼️Lease at your own risk‼️

I can tell you it's a safe community. I've lived there since late October 2017 and have never seen any problems. Also - welcome to the neighborhood!
:t;here are very good school here. e
The best thing to do in this situation is to go to the leasing office during their open hours or call them and set something up with one of the ladies in the office.
