What a fun place to meander around, all the pumpkins, fresh fruit, homemade goodies & of course the petting zoo. A must for young & old

Pretty cool place to stop and check things out, love the goats. Nice shop to browse through, something for everyone.

Yes, we do make gift baskets. Call the office at 805-595-2816 for details.
Not sure, never heard of stuff walnut olives... But they sure sound good 🙂👍...
Could have been Kruegermann Mixed Pickled Salad. I saw it for sale at the Avila Valley Barn in mid-November. http://kruegermann.com/products/products.html#
No we are not open
Unfortunately not, that would be pretty cool though
We do have the butterflies that are on the outside fence for sale in our garden section.
Yes, we still sell chow chow.
I didn't see a hay ride, probably because of Covid. There are animals to feed. There are hundreds of pumpkins to buy.
Yep

It's possible, but some of the turns into the dirt lot are tight. You might be better turn in by the swim and slide center, it's where you exit the dirt lot to go to either Avila Beach or back to 101. Would be a hike. Try calling them and ask is best answer.
Forgot to mention they have a Wagon Ride That for a few dollars takes you to pick Apples and you get to keep them.
On the beach I saw a couple taking a professional photo shoot. On barn property you would have to ask the farm owner. I don't see why they would decline. I took pictures of my kids everywhere but I didn't have all the equipment like the guy on the beach. Lol
Between ten and fifteen dollars just a estimate.
Sorry. I don't recollect seeing any sugar free options. You might want to call them. They're very friendly
No winter strawberries
They have lots of fresh fruit and vegetables but I have never seen pineapple.
The easiest way is to go there and ask to speak to a manager. In person is always the best.
I did not see any front desk kind of setup to help with these any rental/borrow things.
I was there a couple days during the week and they didn't have them. My best guess would be on weekends. I would suggest calling to verify.
It depends on what you are looking for. Different fruits and vegetable get ripe at different times. Stone fruit, corn, watermelon are usually in July. Tomatoes cucumbers etc about the same time. Pumpkins in October, also gourds, squash. Check at the farm and I am sure that can give you a schedule of approximate seasons. Apples are ready starting in August at the Apple farms in Avila Did that help any?
I have seen dogs there, on leashes, typically well mannered dogs, I don't think they are allowed in the buildings with food and merchandise. There is a petting zoo (with some loose chickens), so use your discretion, if you know your dog might get overly excited, it might not be a good atmosphere for them.
Yes and as others have said it is very busy. It sometimes slows down towards their closing time at 6:00.
