Martins Tavern is the definition of excellent atmosphere, quality and second. The venue is run by Alejandro but he is backed by a team of Luis and many others who really go above and beyond to make your experiment special. There isn’t a bar in DC that has better staff and this is backed by an historic backdrop, great drinks and brilliant food. Alejandro is one of the most wonderful people you can meet and you will be hard pressed to find a leader that works harder to make your experience excellent. Martin’s Tavern is the place for a family occasion, a client drink or a leisurely celebration. There isn’t a better place.

O my my! O my my! Delicious Delicious Delicious!! Food, service, ambiance was exquisite. We sat at the Madeline Albright table. We had meat loaf, chicken parm, and lamb chops. Fried green tomatoes appie.

Nice place to bring a date for dinner, or after work meet up for a drink. French Fries are 8 dollars, which is excessive. I think a potato’s worth of shoe string fries is what I got, nothing special. McDonald’s makes better fries and get more. Gotta bring that price down it’s ridiculous
