It's possible, but some of the turns into the dirt lot are tight. You might be better turn in by the swim and slide center, it's where you exit the dirt lot to go to either Avila Beach or back to 101. Would be a hike. Try calling them and ask is best answer.
You need to get there early if you have RV. You'll love the place small but packed with all kinds of great things
If you take an RV go early. The lot fills up. Avila Beach parking would probably not accommodate an RV.
I've never seen any RV's there but the parking area is just one big dirt area. I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you take the RV there.
There is a large dirt area off to the right of the parking area, it looked like it could accommodate a few RVs.
