I would use Legacy Tree again! They helped me accomplish my goals and find a relative I was looking for. They built a family tree for me and made an amazing binder with all their findings! So amazing what they are able to do!

Husband was seeking his BF. He was gifted with a Legacy search, and they were able to identify who his BF was. Legacy kept us updated on where the search was, and they finished on time. Very good experience for us.

I was very impressed with Legacy Tree and the research into my family history. The binders we received were beautiful and very well put together. I purchased them for my father as well and he loved leafing through them. Kim Running, the project manager, and her team did an exceptional job. Researching government documents in foreign countries is challenging enough, but during a pandemic is near impossible and they nailed it!

I reached out to Legacy Tree to see if they could locate my biological father. I had no information to give them in their efforts to locate him. I knew nothing, absolutely nothing about him. Legacy Tree was able to locate my father and conducted an impressive family tree for my "newfound" family. To say that this process has been an emotional rollercoaster is not giving it the appropriate gravity. I joke that I "outsourced" my emotions so that I could find my father. Legacy Tree communicated along the way, their work is topnotch, and they made the process smooth and efficient. Their nature is one of caring, empathy and professionalism. I would recommend Legacy Tree to anyone without reservation.

Questions & Answers

Will legacy tree give me some kind of step to finding who my father is?

Hi Thadd, yes, we have helped many of our clients identify biological family members. Our success depends a lot on the quantity and quality of DNA matches and your family tree. Having 2nd and 3rd cousins’ trees to work with makes a huge difference. This type of research is often heavily dependent on DNA testing as well as traditional records research, so even if you’ve taken a test already, you should be prepared to participate in additional testing as needed. We've featured a few of our unknown parentage projects on our blog (with client permission) if you'd like to check them out: https://www.legacytree.com/blog/can-dna-help-me-find-my-biological-family https://www.legacytree.com/blog/dna-finds-father-down-under To get started, you can request a free quote by completing the form here: https://legacytree.com/contact-us. Good afternoon, how much does it cost to make a family tree?

We do! We have established a network of vetted genealogists all over the world (including the Netherlands and Azores, Portugal!) that can access records for our clients, translate foreign documents and help break through genealogy "brick walls". If you would like to request a free consultation, simply submit the form on our website at https://legacytree.com.
