The roof top has an amazing view of the mountain. If you are early, be sure to catch the sunset view. First time going to the observatory, pretty neat.

Due to light pollution, galaxy viewing is limited, but still possible on new moon to half moon nights.

Is this open to the public? My 5th grader has been dying to go to an observatory, just not sure what's public and private here.
