Asked to have a new battery put in my Timex watch. Clerk took watch and said to give her 15 minutes. Came back 30 min later and still had not replaced battery. Clerk was workimg with another customer. Waited another hour 15 min. Then Clerk told me they would have to send watch for repair taking up to two weeks! The watch was keeping perfect time until they replaced battery. The timex glo light was getting dim, an indicatiom the battery needed replacement. I left the watch for repair. Two days later, Greg called and stated the watch wasn't worth repair and that I should buy a new one. The next day, I went to pick up the watch that wasn't repaired. I approached the counter and asked to pick up the watch. Greg sad zi would have to wait he was working with another customer. The other customer excused him to go get my watch.So, three days later and my watch was returned no longer working and without a new battery! Thanks Fred Meyer Jewelry. Remind me not to shop there again!
