Here is what I can tell you about my Experience: We have had Senawave for at least a year or two. Me and My Family have had to be dealing with constant outages, its gotten to the point where I use my phones hotspot instead, what is really infuriating is that some people in my house have online meetings to attend and when the internet is out it can be pretty difficult and stress inducing if we cant have a reliable connection. Honestly when we first got it I was fairly ecstatic, but now all it does is just cause frustration and dread. Something else is that the antenna we had to put on our roof is actually making it so we cant actually replace any of the tiles with something more Eco friendly. I have actually had to get up on my second story roof just to make patches all because we seriously don't want to have to waste money getting a roof that doesn't fit our needs all because of that antenna. Really, I would say best bet is Xfinity, it Horrible in its own way but at least with them you can get a reliable connection. To end this let me just clarify, I'm sure that they work hard and are trying there very best to get better quality to people, who wouldn't, but right now it just seems like they need a growth period more then anything and if they Disconnections weren't such a hassle sometimes (As well as the antenna.) this would be in my opinion the best internet Service.

If you mean a router, try getting one that is gigabit capable, dual band, and not a modem router combination, just a router.
