By bus it is 4 hours to Charlotte, NC and Charlotte is 5 hrs from Richmond, VA by car so by bus and about another hour and a half to a bus ride to Richmond. Total about 8 and a half hours from Atlanta to Richmond by bus.

You can pay to change to another bus at another time, location, or date. But if you are asking about getting on earlier than the time stated on the ticket, no. Unfortunately even if a bus shows up 30 minutes earlier than what is on your ticket, they do not let you on earlier. It's the same way if you have to get off just for them to clean and get back on. You can't get back on earlier than the ticket time

There isn't one super close, but they have people there that will take you where you need to go like uber. They normally don't charge too much!

If you type in Greyhound bus terminal and the city into the box in the maps app, it will bring up the addresses of them but if you have a smart phone, just download the Greyhound bus app. I have it on my android phone. It will give you all the information you will need plus you can buy your tickets there and track your bus trip too.

Xintensu, There should be no extra charge for transportation of your stroller and the same applies to a car seat for your child. It is considered extra luggage with $0.oo fee but it still allows you to carry your regular luggage of 1 bag under the bus + 1 bag inside with you in addition to your babies items. You will probably have a diaper bag for your baby also. That diaper bag is also allowed inside the passenger compartment with you and your baby, free of charge. Simply bring it along with you and ask the ticketing agent for luggage tags for your babies stroller, diaper bag and car seat . Enjoy your trip. Tim

I have a federal concealed/carry license and their paperwork says that if you are not actively wearing it, they suggest that you transport it in the belly of the bus, in a lockrd box, empty, and with the clip out. BTW, lock the luggage that you put in the overhead as well, no matter what you have in it. I fell asleep and somebody took my bag down, unwrapped the Christmas presents in it, and ate half of my Nutter Butters.

You need the comtamation number cause they don't give replacements unless you change the date it will cost 20.00 better then paying full price if you order online an used a email you can find the comtamation number there. One is free under bus storage,any extras you pay $15 a piece.You also can have a carry on that will fit in an overhead compartment.I recommend bringing snacks & drinks with you.Not too many stops that have that option.
