One is free under bus storage, any extras you pay $15 a piece. You also can have a carry on that will fit in an overhead compartment.I recommend bringing snacks & drinks with you.Not too many stops that have that option.
Two
Your first bag under the bus is free, each additional bag under the bus is $15. You can have one or two small bags on the bus with you. If the bus is crowded your bags must fit in the overhead baggage area or under the seat or in your lap
1 free bag and pay for others
One free bag under 50lbs and one carry on.
One checked bag and one carry on for free. Then there is a few for each OTHER bag if there is space. Around $5 for added baggage
Each person gets 2 carry on and 1 check in bag..$15 for one more. you can pay a little extra for more if needed, its between $35-40 . I believe i paid $60 for 2 suitcases a duffel bag and a guitar
Honestly I get away with more bags than allowed. if you just walk on a bus you know won't be full, you can have everything in the seat next to you. I had a huge sleeping bag, a hiking bag, overnight bag with clothes and my purse, no one said anything to me. BUT the Greyhound site fully explains what's allowed
Two one for carry on and the second for under the bus. Anything after that you will have to pay for the bags.
