See if they will allow you to carry the 55 inch television, because the bags aren't going to be a problem whatsoever, its the television that's going to be the main problem.

Hi Curtis, First of all pack your TV like it is the most precious thing in the world to you. Use your original box if you have it, if not get a very sturdy box {Uhaul moving centers in town have good boxes and wrap to buy} with lots of bubble wrap inside around your TV. Your TV is going to be considered freight or extra baggage. You will pay extra for the privilege. Contact the local freight office, they are in the terminal too. Give them the weight and dimensions of the outside of the box. Along with where you are going to. They will have a price for you there. --OR-- Consider shipping with UPS as they can pickup the TV @ your home and deliver after you arrive It may be cheaper and Safer for your TV. Good luck.
