My ribeye was cooked perfectly . I ordered it medium here. I normally order steak medium rare at other steak houses because i like a little pink in the middle. Most other restaurants usually overcook steak, thats why i order med rare there. However i just had a feeling Texas Roadhouse knew how to do it right. So i ordered medium & got what i wanted. My husband , however didn't have as good of an experience. He wanted the porter house steak. Only to be told they dont carry that cut any longer. Or a t- bone either. He then ordered prime rib only to be told it would not be available until after 4 pm. He settled for steak kabobs. Which he later said was tough. My son ordered 20oz. Bone in ribeye. Medium rare because that us what we normally order. Beautiful cur steak it was just a little to rare for him. So carefully decide how you want your steak cooked here. We got there at 11:30 when they opened for lunch on a sunday. There were already people in line to get in the door when it opened. Hostess was rude did not explain that each group needed to come to her & put your name on a list. They had just opened. All tables were empty. Therefore people arriving after us to stand outside were seated b4 we were. We ended up sitting in the bar section. .Which would have been fine, except they swamped the 1 bartender with all tables full & she had to make drinks for other wait staff 's tables. Someone from the kitchen brought our food. Noone ever checked back to see how the food was, if our steaks were cooked correctly, or even to refill our tea. When we were finished eating the bartender returned to ask if we were ready for the check. That is when we got our drinks refilled. 4 adults ate the check was $103. & Some change. Honestly I expected more for that price.

I’m done with them. Went last night had to send my steak back it was cold. They cooked another steak for me when the manager brought it over he said they didn’t cook it all the way so it could cook in the box. WHATEVER DOES THAT MEAN!! Usually they give something off the bill he acted like he didn’t care. It was no big deal but he acted like nothing thing.

I have always enjoyed eating at Texas Roadhouse, except for one time. People make mistakes...the food is good and so is the service. I've been back since then and I will go back.
They didn't bring mine to my car, even though I got on their list. No social distancing in place between tables/seating. Congested place. But food is good.
