It ain't micro. The staff is very helpful!

Good for window shopping no more. Not planning to visit again.

They do not. Their Ops manager said that they do take Personal Computers and such for Responsible Recycling.
The main line goes to the call center in Ohio not the store.
Iam a computer tech i shop at microcenter frequently. The sale staff are very knowledgeable and will bend over backwards to help you. The 30 series graphics card is in high demand and right now getting anything delivered is hard just like trying to get an xbox series x or a ps5. Im also in management to tell a customer we dont have something is counter productive . just have to be patient.....
Yes, there is a special section of the store just for computers and laptops. The associates there are very knowledgeable and none of them are "married to any brand" as they say, so they won't tell you to get a specific brand. The selection can be slightly intimidating if you don't know what you need, but the associates are very helpful!
If you can upgrade the ram to at least 8gb bc your current motherboard allows it then I say yeah go ahead... If not look at upgrading your Mobo first then ram and cpu.
Yes it's in a fairly good area overall. I've been going for years and never seen anything that would give me cause for concern. Probably one of my favorite stores to visit
Sandra, I tried to find it too. They don't seem to make it easy to find. https://www.microcenter.com/site/stores/marietta.aspx When you click on the "Contact Store" it brings up an email dialog.
They should be able to handle most of your repairs, but the one not powering on at all may be a littlw bit tricky depending on the part causing the issue. If it is a simple power supply issue they can handle it fine but if it is something such as a defective CPU, sysyem board or RAM the repair will be determined by the age of the system and if they carry the part anymore.
They do have at least one. The lines are super long so I advise to buy online with 18 minute pickup and then go to the store. You'll be bumped to a special, much shorter, line.
Don't know but I found out they price match and they are cheaper than anyone else around here
I was there last week. Don't know why they were closed. Have you tried calling to see?
Yes, they've got a great selection of water cooling components compared to other stores I've been to. If you're looking to design/build a system I recommend just going in and talking with a rep near the rear of the store at the desk near the memory. They generally seem more interested in getting you the hardware you need for your build, not just selling stuff.
Yes they should help you with the process to building a PC. They may also recommend things and help you find it.
They do have copy paper pretty cheap there
You have to make sure to choose the Duluth or Marietta store to contact the GA location
They usually have 6000's in stock but theyre expensive 30 series is there later in the week sometimes but its a raffle at 8 am
Phone number only goes to corp HQ. You can direct Q's through there.
Yes I think it starts at $150 but don't quote me on that.
Yes, they do have windows 10 licenses in stock
You can text the number on the website, at least at the Marietta store you can.
You can pre-order some cards but usually they are not lagging to far behind in new stock
Hi Sonya, The folks answering questions on this forum are just customers like you, so its not like you're contacting their customer service. At one time I owned a couple PC stores and did more than my share of "tech support". That said, I can tell you printers are fickle. If you've gone through the "obvious" list of things to check, there's a good chance you'll have to bring the unit back for a replacement. I can tell you've covered some of the obvious things to check for with printer setup (like "ink"). But it seems as though you've bought everything but a new computer.... I'd ask the question, did you install the driver for the new printer? Not saying this is you, but I've seen where people have bought a new printer, connected it, and continues to try and use their old print queue/driver. I try to remember that the folks in these stores didn't design, build, test, or setup the equipment they sell, so if the user experience isn't what I imagined..... Well, its not their fault.
They helped me build my first pc years ago and are great for the diy in you.
No
7:00 PM
I don't believe so, you will have to call HP directly.
I would call to confirm
I don't think so. Best way to know is call them.
They do in-store repairs so you should be able to drop it off
I just called them up. I was told a CPU installation is 79.99. However, to get information on whether the stock CPU cooler or the CPU cooler you are currently using is bundled in that price you would have to take your PC in.
If you need it by tomorrow definitely call the store to reserve the purchase. Otherwise, you'll be able to find it online within the company store website.
I'd try Groupon and look for a screen replacement deal that's local to you. They can usually run under$50 if you can catch a deal...IMHO
Yes Micro Center is the best place and affordable.
Yes, they have the MSI Gaming Z GeForce RTX 2060 Dual-Fan 6GB GDDR6 PCIe Video Card in stack for $389, among others.
This isn't a microcenter ran q/a. Call them directly or look on the website
No, but they do offer a Microcenter card that gives either 5% off every purchase or 6 months no interest on purchases over $249
Upgrade possibly depends on the year of your macbook. Considering the sizes you're mentioning it's probably not upgradeable. Check https://everymac.com/ultimate-mac-lookup/ for good information specific to your model based on serial number.
WalMart can not and will not service a computer at all. MicroCenter offers an extended warranty plan on most purchases and services many computer issues in-house.
In-Store Service Hours: Mon - Sat 10 to 9, Sun 11 to 6
Laptops are not built by design to be upgraded. At most you MIGHT be able to add an SSD, or additional RAM card. Yes, Microcenter is capable.
Yes, they do. A quick search of their site turns up 4 different class 4 micro SD cards, in sizes 4GB and 8 GB, all showing as in stock at the Marietta store. The vast majority of their SD cards, though, appear to be class 10 (which are faster), and in some cases are cheaper or a better deal than the class 4 cards. If you're looking for class 4 to try to get SD cards cheaper, you may be barking up the wrong tree.
You can check their website for what they have in stock in store or online
Yes, they have a customer service desk as soon as you enter on the right.
Lulzbot, PowerSpec and a few more. They have more 3d printing supplies than printers. Filament, hot ends, toolkits etc.
I'm thinking you're meaning, accidental damage protection. Accidental damage protection covers devices that have been dropped, screen's damaged, water damage, etc. Now if you don't buy the protection it's not covered.
As others have stated, check to make sure your wifi switch is not off or make sure your wifi device is enabled in settings.
Yes sounds like you need a ps/2 to usb converter. They should have that there. If no you can get a USB keyboard for around $10
Yes they have them
Yes they do
