Let me just say this place is magical! How the hell does somewhere like this even exist?! The water is so clear it almost seems unreal. It was one our quickest visits on our trip in the UP, but also one of the best. I would tell you to stop here, but I don’t want too many people going and destroying the beauty. Just do me a favor and treat it with the respect it deserves.

Fun stop. Riding the ferry across the spring and back is the main event. Price to get in the park varies. But a great little place.

Beautiful crystal clear water. Natural springs rubble up through the bottom of the pond maintaining a temperature of 42° year-round.

Great place to enjoy in our UP! This is a state park & free with a pastor a small parking fee. It's an amazing spring fed lake that stays 45 degrees. We'll worth driving for such a unique adventure!

We stayed at The Summer House, a bed and breakfast in Garden. The accommodations were great and we were near both Fayette and Palms Brook State Parks.
Not as far as I know of..
There is no camping at Palms Brook that I know of. There is room in the parking lot for large campers so you can visit.
I would get married are the raft at kitchaKippy it's absolutely beautiful
State Park day pass i think its 6. 00 if you don't have the park pass on your license plate
Same here, there were dogs on leashes when I went.
I do not know of a street # but it is easy to find. It's off Sawmill Road on what's called Fishingsite Road. You can put Palms Book Park in GPS or even Kitchitikipi and you'll get there. Also there's the Google Plus Code you could use to locate.
It's a very short walk. I have limited mobility due to arthritis and had no problems.
If you have the state park pass it's free or you can buy a pass at any state park its 10 dollars at sos or 15 I believe at the park
No you cannot kayak on Big Spring. You can kayak on Indian Lake, (there is a spot to put in just north of the park). Big Spring dumps into Indian Lake. But the DNR will take away your birthday and bend your dog tags if you get caught kayaking up the springs channel from the lake. There is a giant raft on the spring with a huge viewing port you can look down and see the bottom and the huge trout in the spring. Seriously don't kayak up the spring, I am told it is a very expensive ticket. Just use the raft, you will have a great experience. Oh if you don't want to pay admission, you can park outside and walk in.
Yes but if you take it to the looking at the fish don't let it drink the, water out of the river, pond it has alot of sulfur in it an our cocker spaniel got real sick ,
