I can't say enough about this Hyatt hotel. Don't let the remodeling turn you away. The construction workers are very mindful and have everything roped off and safe. There is no noise at all. The rooms very up to date and "hip". They are very inviting, warm and make you want to stay awhile. Whoever got the interior designer job is a rockstar in my book. The staff has incredible southern hospitality, and always asking sincerely "how are you doing today?", "You look like you're having a great day". They are very friendly and overly accommodating. I'm very disappointed and in disbelief at some of the few negative reviews that I have read. I can assure you give this high at a try and don't judge a book by its cover. HORRIBLE!!! Upon arrival, My family and I had to wait 1.5 hours to check it. The rooms weren't ready and needed to be cleaned. This was shocking because when I booked the rooms I told the representative I would be checking in later that day, possibly that night. We arrived around 9ish p.m. Next problem, the toilet set was broken in one room. Both rooms would not cool off. The air condition unit was set to 61 but it remained warm in the room. I have called several times and left a message for the GM to return my call, which has not happened yet. I stayed there on April 9. I would not recommend this hotel.

If you are used to nice Hyatt hotels like I am you may be disappointed when you stay here. It’s not like any Hyatt I’ve stayed at. It’s filthy for starters. The smell of marijuana on fifth floor was overwhelming. I found a dirty cup and a used toothpick on my floor when I arrived. Nothing Was wiped clean throughout the hotel it was just nasty and run down. The staff is very unfriendly and rude. It’s right next to the interstate and the highway noise was a challenge to sleep with in addition to the AC being another noise issue. The workout room was ridiculous. For a Hyatt I was shocked! They usually have nice workout spaces and equipment. Finally, I will add that the blackout drapes are not sufficient and my room was bright all night. I’ve stayed at cheap hotels with better quality then this place. I could not wait for morning so I could leave.

Positive: The room was a great size and the complimentary breakfast was great Negative: I was there for 5 nights, we have to call after the 3rd night to even get our trash emptied and request housekeeping. I had to go down two different times to keep linens. Our coffee/supplies were never replenished from check in. Poor staff cust. service.
