yes the bathrooms are located from entrance where the 6 train is accessible and sometimes they are decently clean but still wouldnt recommend sitting on a toliet. it also depends how busy the park is(large crowds = gross bathrooms)

Yes you can BBQ. The park was open when we went this weekend just practice social distance and the cops wont bother. No big crowds.

you can grill in marked barbeque areas. there are two in pelham bay park and two at orchard beach. you need a permit for 20+ people.

Last year I set up all.my stuff by the grill and area I wanted and the people that worked at the park told me I had to leave cause it was reserved . If your going to do something there reserve your spot. I wasn't the only one who got booted . Lots of other families too.

People were fishing off the docks and bridges, but I saw no commercial establishmwnts related to fishing, boating or such; just a quiet, nicely maintained park with lots of runners, walkers, picnicers, and a few anglers. There was a boat Marina nearby and the tony NY Athletic Club. The waterfront is not commercialized at all.
