Why is it called battery park
gabriel tan | Sep 29, 2020
LaDonna Johnson | Sep 29, 2020
It's named for the artillery batteries that were built there in the 17th century. That's the history but I like it because the squirrels will run right up your leg to get food and the pigeons will land on your arm to eat out of your hand. 😊 I love animals more than history. 😁
