They do allow dogs at this campground as long as they are on a leash no longer than 6 ft.

Excellent campground! Sites are level, mostly shaded, private and have a table and fire pit.

Maybe this is a theme that we don't like SC RV locations. The location to the beach and town was great. The bath houses while large only had 3 showers and there was usually a wait. There are no sites with sewer but all have electric 30/50, and water. There was no separation in most sites but 3 did we will let you guess like we did. The sites are dirt and when it rains are mud and when it's not raining are just dusty. Everything was just very dirty. There were allot of leaves but there were also copperheads, and Pygmy rattle snakes that you, your kids and dogs need to watch out for. 3 bites in the first 3 days we were there and hospital is far away. There are way nicer beaches, parks and experiencences on the coast for the same cost. Now the things we liked, the people we met there were all very friendly and the hosts were great. The trails were well marked and maintained. The learning center is a must stop and see. A couple restraints that weren't bad, groceries in town, and fuel. The beaches were not crowded in May and the only traffic issues were crazy golf carts drivers. Give this review a like if you read it this far.

Nice place with good bath facilities and sites..short drive to the beautiful ocean
Only stayed in cabins. Viewing camp areas it appears all sites are well within reasonable distance of facilities.
