They need a back up system if their computers go down. Loads of people coming in, just to be turned down because their computer system is broken. This place needs help ASAP. Do better 🙃

So disorganized. Disaster

Good environment, extremely safe and sheltered place, fast service, but in one of the payment boxes there is an unfriendly Hispanic man, a little rude and unhelpful at times, he is in box 8

Zero due process for Red Light Camera tickets
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
Are they open because of everything going on I got a ticket to go to on Tuesday
If the brake light fails to work, you should get it fixed within 24 hours. This way, there is a possibility the court would dismiss the ticket.
the same thing happen to me nothing is showing up and i’m not sure what to do
I'm in the same boat. I am fed up. Open up already.!
You may need the judge to issue a lift. Or, you may need to pay the DMV a fee to lift. Try these things. If you still have a problem, call the law firm 631-265-0102
You can hire a local attorney to go in and handle this for you. If you need help with this, let us know. 631-265-0102
If you get the car inspected, and show proof, this can be reduced to as low as $150. You can send an attorney or do this yourself.
Forget it. I went to my zoom meeting n they marked me as guilty no show. Gotna 500$ ticket. N i emailed them saying i was there. No emails. U will never get any reply.back. nor anyone on the phone.
These can be paid in person by going to the cashier's window. Have them look it up for you.
It currently ranges from $25 - $100 plus 3 points on your license. You can pay with a debit card or cash etc, at the traffic-court house or mail in a check (no cash)
I don't know, I haven't been able to get a court a point ment STILL.
Well that's not true. They dont even have police in the building. Its basic security & the best time for you to go is 8am. They changed alot of things. You have to make that 8am session to get the info that you need from the clerk but they are going to give you a conference later on that day at 2pm. That's when you can actually speak to someone about any tickets you may have. They will tell you what you have to pay etc
If you remove the tints, and show proof, you could get a reduction on the fine
I was told as of Monday to come back on Friday because they believe that's when they should be back up.
I called for a week waiting on hold some days for 3 to 4 hours until they finally answered
I owe them About $1000 for a 4 car pile up at the light I was the third car I think and he checked everybody's information, and they go no tickets on concerning the accident for a tint ticket that we have had for 9 Years and the other car go out with a warning the wrong exhaust and darker tinted windows than mine and I'm the only 1 to get a ticket
It am not shore
Gota go online all done online now building was closed when I went
You can also email them, which may be more efficient. Then mark your correspondence second attempt, third attempt, as necessary. Keep a detailed log of each thing you do for your defense. Do not let it drop, you very well will be penalized.
No its closed and when you go the officer standing outside pretends he doesn't know how to help you while informing you to take a picture of the general info taped to the front door
Wait for court to open all court days have been pushed back new court days will be issued u will be notified by the court via Usps mail notification will go to address on ticket
18 and younger are generally eligible for youth court depending on your charges and whether you have any prior tickets.
Free and ample public parking available
You can plea not guilty if you send the ticket thru mail, or in person I haven't tried online though.
They are closed for 'normal business' until January 2
For other people, Yes. That is the address.
An attorney can go to the court and conference a ticket with a prosecutor prior to the court date.
Technically, you are allowed to mail in proof of insurance to the court and get it dismissed. However, I do not suggest doing that, because there are a lot of things that can go wrong with that scenario. The court clerks tell me that you have 33 days before the court will seek to "scoff" you. That gets you some extra time to to resolve before they seek to have your license suspended. You need an insurance letter, not the insurance card, showing you're covered. It has to be "just right" or it can be rejected by a prosecutor.
You can go anytime but they will make you go two times on the same day one in the morning and then at 2pm
Do not contact me
U need to go to court and find out !!!!
It is typically OK to seek an adjournment. You need to go in person or send a lawyer. If you send a lawyer to handle your ticket, you can have them handle the ticket and you don't need to go for anything.
If you properly prove the light was fixed within 24 hours after the ticket was issued, it could be dismissed. You see the prosecutor and then the Judge to put this on the record.
If you owe traffic ticket so you need to see a judge
Yes
Show up to court it will be the better way to resolve ur problem
Look for traffic court near where ticket was issued on google maps. Call to find your ticket. Pay ticket and suspension fees in person credit card or by mail. Keep documentation when driving. There also are 3rd party company's that can pay your ticket for a small fee.
I was reading your question about your speeding ticket from last year. I am in tbe exact same situation now. I was wondering if you can offer me some insight into how this turned out for you? I'm expecting to pay like a 1000.00 dollar fine. Is that accurate
WITH THE IMFORMATION YOU HAVE SPEAK TO THE CLERK OF THE COURT. OR TY THE ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY
If it was a long white ticket from an officer then you have to get it taken care of because the DMV puts a hold on it(if you do it online or in person)and you will not be able to get a new registration until that ticket is taken care of.
Just go over there and they will help you of what you need
Just have to wait. Because its a holiday but by Tuesday or Wednesday it should be good by then
No.
You should still go. And get it resolved.
Sorry cant help you on this
DAWN I DONT BELIEVE THERE IS. IF THE STREET WAS NOT POSTED AS NO PARKINGOR STANDING. THEN YOU ARE PERFECTLY LEGAL TO DO SO. MY ADVICE IS LOOK IN THE VTL (VEHICAL &TRAFFIC LAW BOOK)TAKE PICTURES OF THE AREA SHOWING NO POSTED PARKING SIGNS. COUNTER SUE THE COP AND COUNTY.
WHEN YOU GO TO COURT YOU CAN FIND OUT THE FINE AND ASK FOR TIME TO PAY IT. THE JUDGE MAY GIVE YOU UP TO 30 OR 60 DAYS. BUT YOU HAD BETTER HAVE IT PAID BY TTHE DATE GIVEN ONLY PAYMENTT IN FULL IS ACCEPTED NO PAYMENT PLANS MLM BUT YOU CAN ALWAYS ASK.
The amnesty program allowed you to resolve old cases with a waiver of certain late fees. It is no longer being offered.

The traffic violation agency has to come up with a decision. You will have to pay not necessarily that day. You can get time to pay it as well. Hope I helped you.
Best of luck. That building is full of thieves.
YES IT CAN BE. BUT YOU NEED TO MAKE AN APPEARANCE AT THE COURT. TO SPEAK WITH THE D.A
Can I just show up on the same day but just early at 9am?
Honestly it depends on who you deal with. They can give you a 2 week extension. Bring g proof of your pay stubs and let them know you need time to pay as well.
Depends what kind of tickets they are but you find out there
I would call and make sure you didn't miss mail because it should've been a date set already
It shouldn't be valid. You basically had no control of the car.
Whenever you send something Into to places like that. You should definitely have it mailed thru the post office as registered. So that you get a slip to make sure that they have signed for it. Knowing that they got it.
Have to wait. Gotta be there between 8 and 10am
I would assume you go to traffic court or the dmv. Your insurance needs to be good from the day you got the conviction in order for it to be dismissed.b
RED light tickets must be paid in CASH only. It makes no sense that they don't take debit card and only take cards on moving violations only smh
Hey I was looking at your speeding ticket post from last year looking for answers for my own situation. I'm in tbe same spot. 27 over on LIE. Can you tell me what ended up happening. I'm so nervous
No. Monday thru Friday. 8am to 11am. If your not there between this time. They won't see you until the next day
YES YOU CAN MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO SEE IF YOU CAN GET A COURT DATE CHANGED. YOU CAN ALSO BARGAIN THE TICKET DOWN WITH THE DA. BUT BE PREPARED WHEN YOU DO TO PAY THE FINE IN FULL.
8am to 11am. Opens back up at 2pm for afternoon session. You wont be able to attend the 2pm session if you didnt get there between 8am to 11am to recieve a number from the clerk
If you have the fine amount and a deadline what is the court date for?? I missed my court date and they call it a scofflaw you lose those privileges when you miss the court date. Mine was a stop sign ticket they did reduce it to a parking violation though...i don't know exactly how it works I still wound up paying $380 but no points on my license
I'd have to give a very confident yes
Yes
I never heard of that but that's really dumb. I moved 7mths ago & I just changed my address but I never got a ticket for it when I recently got pulled over. I would definitely plead not guilty. They will give you a ticket for anything just to get money smh
No you have to go down there personally unfortunately
If they dont update it in the system you won't you have to goto the court and do everything there. Or use the number that they gave you to make a payment online or by phone and see if they can look you up. Trust me I been there 3 times because of these issues and I'm in brooklyn
This is a common ticket. You CAN get it completely dismissed, but you MUST get a LETTER from your insurance company in the CORRECT form. You can do this yourself or send in a lawyer. If you need help with the letter format, let the law firm know. 631-265-0102
Depending on the date, the current agency might not have been in operation yet. If this is your situation, the way I have handled this for others is to contact Albany to dig up the history. Alternatively, checking the abstract. For a short time, there is an amnesty on old tickets, meaning you can get a discount on the penalty. Let the law firm know if you need help resolving under the amnesty. 631-265-0102
Motions are drafted and served upon the prosecutor right at the court. You get the motion stamped at the clerks office first, and then hand it to one of the prosecutors. Make sure you have cited the correct law or your case will go nowhere. If you have legal questions, you can call the law firm at 631-265-0102
Yes. If you are paying a fine, ask to see the clerk to make a payment.
That might not be a mistake. I have appeared in this court, in the evening, for various cases several times in the past.
There is a web site where payments can be made. There are SOME situations where certain tickets can't be paid online.
Sir, she asked if she could, more than likely, send a relative or friend to go in for her to pay her fine. She wasn’t asking to hire an attorney to go in for her. So the question remains, can she send someone other than herself to pay the fine, a non attorney ???
Depending on your abstract's history, you can plea this down to a parking ticket or jaywalking for as low as $150
The clerk can accept payment from someone other than the defendant..
There are definitely night hearings. I have attended many on behalf of clients. If you have questions for a lawyer, you can call 631-265-0102
No
Are you talking about a judgment that was filed with the county clerk? If so, you can get that from the county clerk. You would pay them a fee to "certify" that it is satisfied.
I'd try at least calling first. Unless you're close enough to the actual courthouse to get there while they're open, time permitting, and can explain what happened. At the very least maybe they can put your case back on the calendar without any consequences
IM NOT SURE THERE IS AN APPEAL PROCESS IN TRAFFIC COURT. YOU EITHER PLEAD GUILTY OR INNOCENT. YES YOU CAN SPEAK WITH THE ASSISTSANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY TO GET THE CHARGES DROPPED OR REDUCED. THERES ALWAYS TRIAL WHICH INVOLVES A FEW TIMES MORE IN COURT. HOPE THAT ANSWERS YOUR QUESTION
IF YOUR GOING TO TRIAL. YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO GET A COURT APPOINTED ATTORNEY.
yes
SORRY BUT I THINK YOU NEED TO DO IT IN PERSON IT DEPENDS ON THE TICKET AS WELL. SOME CAN BE MAILED IN AND PAID.
IDK, sorry
In this court, if you have a clean record, you could get this down to a parking ticket. The fine will be high. Depending on the MPH over the limit you may be looking at $380 as the base fine.
I know i would have to leave my house at 7:30 to get there on time. Roads are pretty crappy right now i guess we have a good excuse to be late??? It sucks as a righ now 7am they are still open
If your court date hasnt passed you're fine. Just go in the day of with your ticket and expect to spend a few hours and a few hundred bucks.
631-853-3966 this helped me find my court date. Surprise, the lady i talked to was actually kinda nice, but overall the hauppuge courts usually suck ass. Charge your phone, eat and drink before you get there. Have a couple hundred in your pocket to pay something and good luck. Your gonna waste a good portion of your life there and get angry.
You have to go in person
How much was it? Did you have to go down and pay it or could you pay online?
Yes
They never do anything online or over the phone. No choice but to go to the traffic court itself
New york state, you need to register and insure a vehicle under the drivers name and information before operating the motor vehicle. Your insurance company would send you a insurance card in the mail with the information you need.
Yes you need to go to court and explain you lost got ticket.. They should be able to pull you up in the Computer
SctpvA smithown n.y 11787
Your ticket you are not going to get out of Suffolk County once their money and if you do not pay them they will suspend your license it happened to me I got pulled over had everything on me and he still gave me a ticket for uninsured I had to get a lawyer besides that they suspended my license there are a bunch of freaking Crooks
I've tried to pay online using both ticket number and case number with absolutely no success. I'm not in the system. I have no clue as to why. My suggestion is to go to Hauppauge and pay there. The cashier closes at 4:00pm but get there around 3:00 to be on the safe side.
