The new team and manager, Holly Whitsell, are amazing. She had me moved into a new unit when I needed to switch within a month. I can come to her with any problems, and she has solutions. I have lived in apartment complexes where you will never get in touch with anyone who works there and nobody cares if you have a problem. This is the best complex I have ever lived in. Maintenance is A+. You have an emergency any time of the day or night, and they are there. They are working to make this a better place to live and it shows!

DO NOT LIVE HERE. Since new management took over in late 2021 this property has gone down hill fast even as rents have gone up 20% or more. Cigarette butts litter the building entrances, dog dropping go left in the grass and bags of trash left in hallways and around dumpsters have always been an issue but have gotten steadily worse over the last 6 months or so. After a fire more than 3 months ago the building still shows visible black smoke on exterior and units still have smoke smell not to mention, no smoke detectors in common areas and improperly fixed/not fixed light fixtures, door jams and walls making it difficult to truly secure individual apartments. Management seems to not care that the building looks like squalor. If you are at all concerned about your health or personal safety please pick a different place.

Old and decrepit. The term “renovated units” is a joke. My bathroom ceiling collapsed from a plumbing leak. Hallways, laundry room and gym were rarely cleaned. Grounds usually strewn with litter. The biggest problem here is the way they charge for water. There is only one meter per building, and they do not seem to control how many people live in the apartments. So there may be two people on a lease and more actually living there. So you wind up paying the water bill for a lot of people. Beware when you move out. Your “final bill” may not be final. They came after me a year after I moved out for an extra $50-for water charge. I would avoid this place like the plague.

My family and I have lived here for almost a year and we love it! Its clean, kept up with and the Management and Maintenance staff are awesome! Elizabeth in the office has been amazing! She was the one who took us around and toured the grounds with us and was able to get my family approved within hours to move in. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else with people who genuinely care about their residents. Kudos to the staff and property owners of the Park at Fountain City! If you are looking for nice, affordable, pet friendly living, the Park at Fountain City should be your number one choice!
