We were very pleased with this hotel. Our room was quite clean and comfortable. The hotel backs up to the bike path and is walking distance to town. There is a nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. The people were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful service, location and ambience. The swimming pool, hot tubs, sauna and steam room were all meticulously taken care of. Overall, it was a delightful experience! Don't miss out on the complimentary breakfast either! The Swiss secret recipe potatoes are tremendous 😁🧀

My family is of Swiss heritage and New Glarus has been on my bucket list for years. Adorable area, shops, history... then the hotel. I saw it and immediately wanted to stay, as my grandfather built his own Swiss Chalet home. It's a beautiful property, carved wooden banister and a large mural adorns the lobby. The property has SO much potential, as there's few options locally. The furniture is a mishmash- desk, table, lamps, cloth chairs with stains. The curtains dated. The mattress was old, spring type, more like a trampoline with coils in your back. Jetted tub- old, stained, dirty. AC/heat unit unable to regulate. We ordered the wine package. Never got the tasting coupons or cheese/sausage board that was included. Here's the thing. I'm NOT a Karen, I hate complaining. Here's the reason for my review. This place could be a gold mine. There is SO much potential, but at this rate, I don't see long term operations here. That's what makes me sad. This is my heritage and so many others. Themed doesn't mean it needs to be dated. The rooms need to be refreshed, updated, and invested in. Why would others not pay the same price for a newer hotel in Verona or Madison with newer amenities for a good night's sleep? Please owner if you read these- please invest in this beautiful property. I know COVID has taken its toll on your industry. If you build it, they will come.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The Swiss decor is nice. The breakfast is great. You get a choice of made to order eggs, sausage links, Canadian bacon, pastries, yogurt & cold cereal choices. All included with your room. Location is awesome as you can walk to down town and enjoy the shops and restaurants. Thanks to all the staff.
