Great hotel! Stayed here 3 years ago and its such a shame that hurricane Ian has to damage it.

Depends. Generally, in Florida, 18 is legal age to rent a room. If there is a liquor bar in the room, it tends to be 21. Hotels, themselves, can also restrict the age to 21 for insurance purposes. Easiest way to determine is to call the property and ask the agent at the hotel. (Try it mid day to avoid getting a busy agent processing check-out or check-ins and being placed on hold for an hour).
Yes, the pros name is Josh. He can get you all set up.
Yes. We had one but its pretty basic. Only two settings.
There are a few individually-owned, but most are owned by the resort. I assume you can request a specific unit, if it's available...
200. Each condo has different accommodations though. 1,2 &3 brdrms.
There are two groceries on Sanibel, Jerry's and Bailey's. Unlike other beach resorts, Sundial has a Bailey satellite. Make sure you stock up before you cross the bridge however. I recommend Aldi's and Publix at the San Carlos intersection.
There are no apartments, but people do rent out their condos and homes
Yes. At the main pool there is a rectangular brown box that has things like floats or toys that people buy and leave for others.
You will get a tag upon check in for your vehicle. There are plenty of parking and it is free. The covered parking is first come first served basis and not assigned parking. Friendly staff and be sure to explore the island from tip to tip. There are local public beaches you should hit up with the family including the lighthouse.
There are elevators but they are VERY small. It will fit 4 adults without luggage or 2 with luggage.
Hello ! Phone to Sundial, because I am a French π«π· tourist.. who wrote simply an advice and I don't Know.. Have Γ good trip.. and enjoy. π
When we went, it was a similar stormy time... They have a live beach cam which shows conditions from the property. Combining that with google and weather.com we got good data to base our decision on.
You should just not relent, they'll pick up eventually. They are really busy this time of year
No.
I have both rented a car and used an Uber. If you plan on staying on the island, I would recommend an Uber. It was 50ish bucks and had the medallion to cross the bridge. The resort has bikes if you want to explore the island. If you are going to want to go back to Fort Myers, I would probably rent a car.
