I am 67 years old with severe lung issues (copd/enzyme) - when and where would I get the 1st dose of the vaccine. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Hi Rebecca, we will have someone mail you a new one.
In general, we prefer for people to get their second dose where they got the first. We get a certain amount of second doses automatically based on the number of first doses we give. If your mother-in-law is unable to get her second dose in Allegany, please contact us through our website (http://health.frederickcountymd.gov) or message us through Facebook (http://facebook.com/fchealthdept) so we can follow up with you directly.
Hi Linda, we will email you your appointment reminder.
Hi Rita, we will email you to confirm your appointment. Thanks!
You should receive an email confirmation of your appointment with the date and time.
The Health Department is not open for pool operator cards. Please submit either by mail or in our drop box at Entrance A your paperwork to get a Frederick County Pool Operator card. For details about what to submit please see our website at https://health.frederickcountymd.gov/341/Swimming-Pool-Spa-Bathing-Beach.
Please fill out the Vaccine Interest Form in the blue box on our website: https://health.frederickcountymd.gov/629/COVID-19-Vaccine. Completing this form does NOT register you to get the vaccine, but we will contact people who have pre-registered on this form by priority group as we receive more vaccine.
You can check with the Maryland Board of Physicians: https://www.mbp.state.md.us/bpqapp/.

Hi Karen! If you were born in Maryland after January 1, 1939, you can get an official copy of your MD birth certificate on the same day you fill out the application if you bring a valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID displaying issued and expiration dates, such as a current driver's license, current U.S. Passport, or current U.S. Military ID. The application is available online (http://health.frederickcountymd.gov/187/Birth-Certificates) or in person and each copy costs $20.

I went thru a issue similar to that and i tried to get the land lord to fix the problem with no luck. So i went to the health dept and they came and took pics and met with the land lord and advised that untill the issue was addressed, i was not to pay the rent to them but take it to the health dept . i could not be evicted or charged for this . long story short, the land lord didn't take this matter seriously and the health dept condemned the property and the land lord was made to pay hotel fees untill i found a new place and then they had to pay 1st mo and sec dep for the place i did find. I hope this helps and maybe can show u what ur next steps could be......☺
