TL;DR: This store sells lamps that are currently available at Ikea for more than twice the cost. How can I trust anything else they sell, and why would I want to give them my business? I recently moved to DC from NYC and am looking for a few pieces for my new place. My home is almost entirely furnished with vintage and antique items collected over the years, so GoodWood seemed like a good place to browse. This store is beautifully curated and styled, with a mix of vintage and current pieces. By "current," I did NOT expect to see the Ikea Ranarp clip lamp (sans tags), branded as a "modern clip light," and sold for $48. I actually needed to take a trip to Ikea last week, so I stopped by the lighting section during that trip to see if they still sold it. The answer is yes, and for $21.99. See my pictures, both taken within the last week. This calls into question the legitimacy (and price!) of every item in the store. I saw another lamp I liked in GoodWood, but I didn't consider buying it because I had just seen the Ikea lamp and for all I know, the one I liked is from CB2 or Wayfair or something. Ruined the whole store for me. Miss Pixie's seems like a great alternative.

We had such a great experience with Good Wood. We had to bring our table up to Northern Virginia and they were so careful to pack and protect our items. The quality of the table and chairs is amazing and the prices can't be beat!
