This Nature park is beautiful. We rented bikes for about $15 each. The trail is 6.5 miles round trip, and there are several waterfalls to see. The grounds are mowed. You can eat at their restaurant. It looked like the average pricing for eating was $17-25. We didn't have time to eat because we spent so much time on the paved trail taking pictures. We saw a group that was taking a tour on their trams that got to stop and eat in a pavilion on the trail. There is also a chapel where you can get married. It was gorgeous overlooking a waterfall.

All the years I lived in the area I have never been. I regret that unconscious decision. It's gorgeous. Take the tram tour for sure. Reserve ahead of time. It takes a couple hours but you'll get far more out of the trip rather than …

A 3.8 mile one way trail (with sites branching off of it) that I was able to job 2.2 miles into before it was getting close to closing time. Easily the best nature trail I've ever been on. I will make it back here one day to finish the …Thank you very much for your review. Hope to see you again!

We had the most amazing time biking the 6.5 mile paved trail. We rented bikes, including a kid's Burley. David was most charming and informational about what places to stop at along the way. The scenery was beautiful even for Jan. The terrain was pretty flat so it was wonderful and not too exerting. The waterfalls were lovely! One of the best things I have done around here! We will go back.
Yes, you can get married at Dogwood Canyon. Choose from waterfalls, chapel, pavilion, or rustic chuckwagon site on Little Indian or Dogwood Creek. Prices available on request. Reservations are required.
Get your tickets online before you go. Cheaper. There is a free 6 1/2 mile paved hiking trail. You can rent bikes. The restaurant serves delicious food with dining room or patio dining.
Check it out on line.
Depending on the time of year Dogwood is very busy. They have expanded the parking. You should know the drive from the highway is steep and has a switchback turn. I have seen buses use the exit road which is easier. It is still worth the hassle to enjoy the park.
You can stay for as long as you want while they are open (which are basically daylight hours) plenty of trails to walk, or take a tram or jeep tour. The tram basically drives you down the walking path and into an animal reserve. The jeep tour takes you on old logging roads but are more pricey. There is also a guided horseback ride on site. And with an on-site restaurant you don't have to leave to go eat. (I believe there is also an area for bringing a picnic outside of the park, but I would verify that first before planning on doing so)
I believe it was 25 dollars a person. You must make reservations ahead of time. We paid 20 dollars to get in and walk around. If you live close you can do a yearly pass.
There is a section of the facilities dedicated to Eagle education! With live cams on an eagles nest and a refurbished life size eagle nest. It's pretty neat!
Yes, we were unsure if we wanted to pay it or not, but so glad we did. We ended up doing the tram ride and it was beautiful. You can spend the entire day there for a small price!
Honestly I don't know, however don't let that stop you from going!
Call and check and if not..Hire a dog sitter!!
You really gotta go, you won't regret it.
To get into the restaurant. We are locals and love the area, but along with the price of a meal for 7 people that is a lot of money. Sad we won't be able to visit.
It's too far for her to walk if you take the trolley tour see the whole park including where hikers can't go and it stops at the chapel for everyone to get off and see it
Parts . You can enter easily via wheelchair from the parking lot to the admission both, then to the park. After that there are ashphalt paths. They offer a tram for extra $$ to visit the whole park. You can see more on the tram than they allow me to see by bike or walking.
How much for 2 nights n a cabin with activity's be

that all depends on when you stay. whether it's on a weekday or weekend the rates are higher on the weekend. it's best you contact them directly for exact pricing
Entrance to the park is $10 . The tram ride was $70 for 2 people. Reservations are best for the tram and can be done online. The restaurant wasn't horrible, I think it was about $25 for the 2 of us and we each had soup/sandwich combo and a drink. There was plenty of food.
You need to take the guided tram to see the animals. If it's a hot day, the animals will go down to the pond so you can see them there. Early afternoon is a good time but you are better off calling ahead and making a reservation. Enjoy!
We just visited this past weekend and it was still very green but the leaves have started to change a little. Also it was extremely warm this past week as well.
There is a trailer that will tow you around the property, even to see things that people cannot walk to (like the deer, bison and elk.) We just took it the other day, it was great
The cabins at dogwood are not rentable. These are cabins for intern staff. There are cabins at Big Cedar Lodge that are available for renting purposes.
There are no cabins available there is one tree house built by Pete Nelson of Treehouse Masters you can go and explore inside of it but it's not something that you can spend the night in there are a lot of nice motels and hotels close by though in Branson to stay at
No reservations are required, if you are a large group, I am sure they would love to have a heads up....
I love taking the tram ride....it is amazing...
It costs $10 to get into the museum, restaurant and tree house. Then another $10 if you want to walk the trails. It is $15 if you want to rent a bike and use it to ride the trails. It's $35 dollars for the tram ride. And horse back riding is $55.
We stayed at Grand Country Resort. It has 2 indoor pools and 2 outdoor pools and an indoor water park. Great place if you have kids. They also have a great buffet.
There are no cabins there. We stayed at the cedars in branson. It was just a short drive there. There is also big cedar lodge which is beautiful and close as well. Maybe only a 15 minute drive away.
It's $10 to walk the area it's beautiful, it's 15 to ride a bike and it's 20 to ride a Segway it is totally worth the $15 to get a bike and go right around there such beautiful waterfalls
Yes but dogs are not allowed in restaurant, mill or gift shop. Only on trails and there is a charge. I think we paid $4. for our Pomeranian to walk the trails.
Not to sway you, this is a great place to go regardless of how you experience it, but if you have the time for it, it's worth walking the park if you can. Regardless though, it's well worth it either way.
Right now, the only thing that is in bloom are the Bradford Pear ornamental trees. The Dogwoods and Redbuds have yet to bud, let alone begin to bloom. I have lived here my entire life and not every year is exactly the same. Depending on how far away you live, just call & check. Once the Dogwoods & Redbuds have finally bud (fully), then it's just a matter of a few days & they'll be in Full Bloom.
Really depends on what you are wanting to do there and what experience you are wanting from it. Spring is beautiful, summer warm and peaceful, and fall perfect weather. It's a must see for sure in my opinion
I haven't heard of any. Ride-the-Ducks have a tour. Shepherd of the hills has a tour and the Ralph Foster museum onthe campus of College of the Ozarks.
Kimberling Marina and Resort.About 15-20 minutes from Dogwood Canyon.Nice accommodations and reasonably priced. We stayed their 2 nights Thanksgiving weekend because our son got married at Dogwood.
The park is open year round. The cabins may be seasonal. Tent and camper camping is available about 7 miles away at Lampe, Mo., but that may also be seasonal. Most seasonal properties open in March.
Property is owned by the same folks as Big Cedar. Big Cedar is about 30 min away and has loads of cabins and lodge rooms. All super nice and spendy but worth it IMHO. Dogwood did have rental cabins 5+ years ago before the renovations but those are gone/staff housing now.
They no longer rent cabins at Dogwood Canyon, all rentals are on the Big Cedar property in Ridgedale. Rates fluctuate heavilly depending on time of year. There are very small cabins and very large cabins. Smallest during the lowest season is about $200 and larhest during the highest season is about $1500 per night for a cabin. They also have lodge rooms (similar to a nice hotel room) and those are cheaper.
