Rules on signs don't mean anything. Anything goes. Bring them deep fryers to the swim beach ,bring them glass beers . Walk around with a beer in each hand. Not what it use to be. Not for our family anymore.

This is a great campground that sits kind of on a peninsula out into the lake. It was flooded at the time we were there so be aware there can be water level changes that actually go up to the campground. Pretty place where you can kayak or play with an actual sand beach nearby. Definitely one of the better campgrounds in Missouri. Flush toilet restrooms and paved surface campsites for RVs. Sites had water and Electric, which is unusual.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we will be back next year. We had site 19 which was right off swim area and alot of shade. Great place to stay for a weekend.

Fantastic location. Can’t wait to come back. Every site we saw looked like it would be a great option.

No ma'am. But they do have boat ramps on site.
See the original response from James. All sites except for the group shelter are $21 per night. This is whether you use a tent or a camper. The group shelter is $50 for a day of use.
You can do it by creating an account on recreation.gov or you can just show up and get sites "first come, first serve" type thing. The site is a little more expensive as they charge you a service fee for credit card payment for reservation but well worth it to get the site you want in many cases!
No, water and electric sites with a dump station.
The campground is closed for the season. As with most campgrounds you are better off to do your booking online . Mill creek is a very popular campground and usually if you dont make reservations months in advance it's likely you wont get in. Very beautiful campground tho, and highly reccomend it.
Yes, and yes, water at every site. There is a fire pit at every site. $21 per night. BEAUTIFUL campground.
Don't know. Stayed there one time.
No over night camping yes it is flooded but it is still open for day use and boat launching
Until the park reopens, you may park on the street as long as two of your vehicle tires stay on the pavement. You may also use any of the empty campsites until camping resumes.
Right now nothing... Water is 15ft high. People are launching from the parking lot.
This year there are no fees for day use because of the virus. Normally the day use fee is $5.00.
Yes.. great sites!
Pretty much all of them are a short walk to toilets
I think What's up dock in Kimberling city rents boats and Baxter Marina does too.
Yes you can....but only 2 cars....per site....but it's beautiful here.
A few spots were..but it looked like all good as of monday 5/20
The outer sites along the lake edge are shaded at least half of the day or probably more. We prefer the higher numbered sites in the cove area. You can view a map of the sites on Recreation.gov Honestly there's not a bad site in this campground. It is beautiful, well kept and quiet.
3 and 5 are nice big sites
No
I park my bass boat,in water when close enough. You have to move the boat when it gets ruff.
Campsites are within walking distance of the waters edge. Great for swimming and fishing.
