This is a small, pleasant, well maintained campground. All sites have shade and a nice view, not just the waterside sites. There's not much traffic so it's quiet. This place is excellent for walking and bicycling, and there's a playground area with basketball goals near the boat ramp. There's also a lot of wide open flat areas for playing Frisbee or passing a football.

Almost always quiet, plenty of space, and a good place to watch the river barges go by. Good shade in the summertime, and right under the flyway to see migrating geese in season.

Beautiful smaller campground right on part of the Arkansas river. We loved seeing all the ducks, geese, and even pelicans right from our spot. And, the sunset was amazing!

Great New place to camp, however, the Bugs ate us Alive. The Mowing of grass during our camping trip did not help. Easy access to water, fishing spots, and even the Island 300 feet away. Boat launch and Fire Rings were a great addition. 2 miles to nearest store, and no Bait shop access..Bring plenty with you.
