The outer sites along the lake edge are shaded at least half of the day or probably more. We prefer the higher numbered sites in the cove area. You can view a map of the sites on Recreation.gov Honestly there's not a bad site in this campground. It is beautiful, well kept and quiet.
Plenty of tree's, shade is time of day dependent.
Tina is right. The trees are on the outer sites. We like sites 3,5 on the main campground area and 51 on the peninsula.
