What an amazing place!! You can drive along the beach (only 4x4) enjoy the sun, fishing and a good walk. I love the protected area of the dunes, everything is well signposted, where you can enter with your vehicle and where you can't. Admission is $2 per person, there is a portable toilet right in the parking lot, this one is free. I love this park, we have had a fantastic day.

Amelia Island is open 24 hours a day but doesn't allow camping set up. There is no camp at this park but Fort Clinch to the north and Little Talbot to the south both have full camp grounds.
Huh?
Yes, nice sand. You can drive on the beach if you have a 4x4
$2.00 per person to park all day, and to rise the horses is $125.00 an hour.
No need for a permit. Like was mentioned before, no pets or charcoal grills on the beach tho.
Yes . If you don't have 4 wheel drive i wouldn't advise it.
You can always go to Kelly Seahorse Ranch and rent a horse for their guided trail ride through the woods over the sand dunes and out along the ocean. It's about an hour on wonderful horses and it's a beautiful, peaceful ride.
Are there restrooms?
No if something goes wrong with it and it dies you get sucked out to the ocean personal experience
Actually you can now. They have the nest marked with tape so you don't run over them. I have driven on the beach there every day this week
It's near Fernandina Beach ,a 4×4 is a must to get on the beach
Yes...but make sure to have 4x4
And
There are plenty of places you can camp. Annie obviously isn't a local.
