The people who work here Horribly rude people. Criminal personality. I'd find a different office to go to.

Our representative was nice and helpful. We had an appointment.

I called the new bern office to make an appt to apply. The first man was very rude and rushed me off the phone before I was done trying to set a date. I called back and the second lady made excuses for the first man and was very condescending to me about the verbiage they use regarding the application process. This is after I waited almost 30 minutes each time. In between I also had a pick up and disconnect. Ridiculous that these people are paid to help us.

Today, it wasn't that good. I asked the lady in braids for the paper that has my relative's ssn on it so he could give it to his boss at his first job and she said no , that I had to wait for it to come in the mail. Before everything was said and done, she gave us the paper . I believe that she was being a monster and didn't really want to help us . When there's a young black man that wants to work instead of getting into a lot of trouble, (actually any young man) help them get that job. I had all of the ID to show proof of who he is . That woman just didn't want to give the number so that he can start working. We need to stand up and help all young men in this world, they are trying to change for the better.

What's the local number in new bern
You should be able to call them and get that info. Or go into the local office
You must contact the courthouse in the county where you were born. You can order them online if you live in a different state or county.
To be honest I don't know you might have look it up on your time
need new sscard, change of address, and direct deposit information change
You can log in, with your my social security account, or you can call the 1800 number. It has to be done by the third Friday of the month and no later, or the direct deposit won't hit until the month after next.
You should have received a letter with a reason. Call them and ask; easiest way to find out.
You would need to call them
socialsecurity.gov
I went in on Tuesday. I was able to take a number and be seen without an appointment. Masks are required. Hope this helps.
Yes, better for you
You can sign up online if you have access to a computer. Not sure if you can do it from a smart phone
You can call or go online to make an appointment , or just go to the local office. Calling the local office is the best about the appointment for today.
Yes, but the lobby capacity right now is at 8. The rest have to wait outside. I got there at 840 am and I was the 4th in line.
If you can go online and SSA can answer that question. Or visit local office.
That's the best way to get your information. And keep up with changes.
You can help yourself out by go8ng online and feeling out your paperwork. So that when you walk into the office to check in and get a number your process goes alot faster when you are called back to work with an agent.
Yes you can.
Yes you can but is a little easier if you make an appointment
Ehh. Try their website.... Usually at the bottom of the page or under a "contact us" menu. Good luck to ya!
I called yesterday and yes call them and they will make a appointment for you. If you're needing a ss card replaced then they don't make appointment's for that, you have to print the online application off of the site fill it out and mail it into the office.
Phone
No appointments allowed under covid-19. They do everything by phone and mail.
I think that you can schedule an appointment for the same day but they are open from 9 thru 4 mon thru fri

I'M gonna be moving soon & need to drop off my lease, do i need an appt for that or is it possible to just fax it
You can either do online or go to the office because they want proof of the change
Non expired picture id and birth certificate in case a correction is needed on your record
I was born in NJ. You have to go on to your local county website and find the registrar/records. There you will be able to pay for the BC. And provide proof
7 to 10 business days
You have to call medicare for that. I don't think SSA can do that for you
I don't understand
Go to your county Dept. of Social Services, not Social Security.
When you go to the office they will have you fill out a form. When they call your number take it to them and they will apply for you to get another one
Craven county deeds office
I would imagine. Only way to know is to call and ask
Yes you will lose part or all of your disability depending on how much your husband makes and how much your monthly bills are. I lost over 600 dollars a month.
